"We made a table reservation for wife's birthday. When we got there we couldn't find a table with our name plaque, it was a few minutes before we were approached and directed to the next free table. It was not reserved, was not very clean, no candle, no salt. It would be nice to come to a nicely prepped table especially that we booked it for special occasion. It was our first visit it would be beneficial to receive some sort of instruction from the staff who sat us down, as to if order by the bar or if we will be served, so we had to find out ourselves. The food was tasty and good, delivered promptly.The garden is fantastic. Staff kind and was working hard. The only problem was the garden is not fenced off and adjacent to the car park, so we had our hands full having to watch after out boy rather than relax in our seats..."

Booked Via open table but the place was shut when we got there. Don't know if it's closed for good, or a problem with Open table, but probably won't bother to find out.

I made a reservation with Via table, but the restaurant was closed when we arrived. I'm not sure if they were closed for the day or if there was a problem with the reservation system, but it doesn't really matter - we'll just find somewhere else to eat.

This is a great place to dine with excellent food, but the service was less than pleasant due to a rude staff member behind the bar. The blonde lady (different from the ginger blonde lady with short hair) was impolite during both of my visits, not even thanking me for my patronage. Ver carta

Lovely place to eat and food is always brilliant , place was let down by a rude member of staff serving behind the bar middle aged blonde lady (not to be confused with the ginger blonde lady with short hair) was rude to myself on both visits to the bar 2 nd was to pay not even a thankyou for my custom

Excellent food and good value. Service was terrific and the early evening offer of three courses was well worth the £12.95 per head with good sized portions. The only thing which spoiled the evening was the proximity of smokers to the doors into the garden as the smell of cigarettes was too much at times.
