We attended my niece's wedding at this restaurant and it was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend it as a venue for weddings. We also stayed in the guest house, which was impeccably clean and very cozy.

Great tiger prawns to start and chocolate brownie to finish. The goats cheese ravioli for mains was disappointing as the pasta wasn’t fresh. The restaurant had a beautiful view over Loch Lomond and good service. Ver carta

Visited after reading reviews and looking for somewhere close to our holiday venue, Cameron House on Loch Lomond. So glad we did. The food was delicious, every family member was very happy with all their courses. The service was excellent and the venue nice and very relaxing.

Our experience at the restaurant was unpleasant. While it may be a suitable location for a wedding venue, it did not meet our expectations as a restaurant. We ordered king prawns and two burgers, and were required to pay in advance. Unfortunately, we both experienced stomach issues after our meal. Overall, we do not recommend dining at this establishment.

My family and I recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, with the staff being both efficient and friendly. The menu had a great variety of delicious dishes, all of which were prepared and presented beautifully. The wine selection was also top-notch. Overall, our experience was truly excellent and we will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Loch Lomond. Ver carta

We attended a friend's wedding for the day (the second time we've been at a wedding at The Cruin) and once again, it was a fantastic day.The staff were friendly, the wedding meal was exceptional bearing in mind they are catering on mass for 100 people and the presentation and standard was very hight.The setting is fantastic for outdoor photographs overlooking Loch Lomond.I'd have no hesitation in recommending the venue to any prospective bride and grooms.

Had roast beef dinners, which we were all looking forward to, but have to say we were left bitterly disappointed. The beef was like old shoe leather and really should have come with a saw, it was so tough (had to ask for steak knife) worst bit was that it was incredibly fatty, so much so that we left more than we ate I hate wasting food but it was inedible. Take away puddings I had the sticky toffee pudding which was very dry (possibly over microwaved) but ice cream was nice. Overall unimpressed and if staying at Lomond Castle again, wouldn’t eat there. Actually had a nicer roast dinner at Maid of the Loch in Balloch!!!

Visited for our friend's wedding. Venue was stunning, set out beautifully and very clean. The weather was beautiful so we got to enjoy the gorgeous views, drinks were reasonably priced to. My husband was in a wheelchair after just having an operation and the staff were very helpful, particularly Jack who went above and beyond to help, he even made time to come and check on us several times throughout the day, fetching ice for his leg ect....very polite and easy to talk to making our experience enjoyable. The only downside was the gab between the service at 1pm and the meal at 5pm with no food in between, not sure if this is the normal layout for their weddings but maybe canapés or something...
