Had the most amazing waitress who saved the day. Average food and manager who said we needed to leave as table reserved for others. … one hour into our 2 hour booking

The place is ok. We have ordered a vegetarian plate good enough but pricey. The second dish was a joke. The risotto is something different. The rice was overcooked a complete mess.

very pleasant restaurant and bar. breakfast brunch on Saturdays are great (shame them to finish too early and are closed on sundays). burgers are also quite good and the terrace (especially upstairs) is a beautiful al fresco option.

The restaurant has strange opening hours. There are many other nearby places that are open all day and provide excellent service while still taking your money. It seems like the Young Vic believes they are too high-class to prioritize traditional business practices.

We enjoyed the duck and charcuterie, both of which were very good. The duck was plentiful and nicely cooked in a salad, although it lacked feta cheese which I didn't mind. We skipped starters and dessert, but the main dishes were filling. After being away for a while, it was nice to return to this restaurant.

I visited this restaurant with a friend and asked the waitress about egg allergens in the dishes I wanted to order. She reassured me that there were no eggs, but later brought out calamari with egg-containing sauce without confirming with the kitchen. When I asked her about it, she admitted her mistake. I was extremely disappointed and concerned about the lack of attention to my severe allergy. I would advise those with allergies to avoid this restaurant.

Booked as a pre cocktail and snack venue before we went to a west end show. Service was fantastic. First round of cocktails we loved. We repeated the order however received completely different glasses and servings of our cocktail each time before they told us after 4 of the same frozen drink they had run out. Snack menu was good but expensive for the small portions. Food was nice but bill was very high I am mindful of this as a pre theatre snack menu as the presumption there is that the customer will eat something light and go on to spend again post show on dinner.
