"was given a gift voucher for mocca moocho for christmas and finally it came to use for a afternoon tea! mosambik moocho is our visit to the coffee shop in wakefield, never tries their goodies before. the afternoon was nice! our table was finished inside, but we could find a table outside in the sun, so fortunately they moved him out for us. there are 10 triangle sandwiches between 2 and we had chicken mayonaise, egg mayonaise, cheese and pickle, ham and tomaten and lachs with gurke. there were a few small cocks and salate to garnish. there were 2 massive skorn with jam, and we had 2 slices of baked cake, and a few pieces of klappjack and shortbread. we have only made one scenario between us, but happy to take the rest for later! the personal was very friendly and courteous! would definitely recommend the afternoon tee anyway, it would be a perfect gift. the coffee shop offers everything you want, there is so much choice! it is important to support local independent coffee shops"

"Exploring the outskirts of Leeds led me to discover the gem that is Corarima, a gluten free, vegan haven in Wakefield. As someone currently navigating a gluten free journey, stumbling upon this Abyssinian vegan/gluten free restaurant was a true delight. Opting for the combination platter for two was a journey through a sensory layer cake a symphony of tastes and smells expertly presented. We embraced the experience, relishing the deliciousness with our hands, a practice met with the owner's delighted approval. The host, a charming and attentive soul, took us on a culinary tour, passionately detailing each dish. He was so warm, Friendly and attentive without being over bearing. The decor added to the warmth, creating a homely ambiance that made this dining experience extraordinary. In the realm of UK dining, Corarima has secured its spot among our favorites. It's more than a restaurant; it's a rare and complete experience, a testament to the charm and authenticity of Abyssinian cuisine. I wish we lived closer as we’d visit regularly for sure! Dietary restrictions: I’ve recently had to go gluten free whilst also being vegan so it was wonderful to relax knowing that the menu was accommodating of my dietary requirements Kid friendliness: Whilst we were dining a family arrived with a young baby and the host was so charming and attentive with the baby. Engaging with the baby as if it was any other diner (even offering to take his order)!"

"I used to visit this place years ago when the previous owner ran it and the food, service and portions were Fantastic. Then I moved away. I visited Wakefield today and thought I’d call in, and I ordered a chicken curry on the bone and chapatis. The bowl of curry was small and only half full, also there it was on the bone, so even less meat. I was absolutely shocked and had to mention this to the lady serving. Her answer was every where else is more expensive than here, with a smirk. I was stuck for words. I ate my curry in less than 2 minutes, paid and left. What a rip off. She clearly knew what she was doing. You can’t bump the prices up and decrease the portions! Even the take away curry portions in the plastic containers were half full. Never again!"

"I had booked the royal spice but due to a very sad bereavement the restaurant was closed so went here instead. Service was chaotic to say the least even though there were only a handful of people in drinks order had to ask twice and wrong drink came. Poppadoms soft and chewy curries came two were wrong had to go back. One of our party had a nut allergy asked for a curry without nuts or could the curry she wanted be prepared without nuts answer no so what can I have a plate of chips! Really in this day and age nut allergies are quite common. I had to call the waiters at least twice from the other side of the room whilst they chatted together. I guess by the amount of people in the restaurant says it all really."

"Real mixed bag. We had 4 starters and the Sunday dinners (Chicken and beef). First the bad, the chicken thogh meatballs were shocking. No flavour, tasted sour, really bad. Tempura prawns were OK, but 4 prawns for £10 is really poor value. The seaweed that came with the prawns was chewy and not Crispy. Burnt ends and Sriricha ribs were good. Sunday dinner was really good. Meal type: Dinner"
