Usual high standards! And I know it’s out of their control, but the company was excellent as well!

Great cuisine, but the service was lagging. Large gaps of time between courses. The food was good, but the lack of service tarnished the experience.

This restaurant has to be in my top 10. A beautiful dining room, delicious Austrian tones to the menu.. Wiener schnitzel was sensationally prepared, wonderful.. The staff are polite and accommodating. Definitely on my “return to..” list.

We went there for a pre theatre meal which they seemed to be geared up for. The menu we had was great value and included a glass of wine or beer. None of these measured glasses of wine the waiter just filled the glass. And for a house was very good. Service attentive and promt. The decor ambience lovely almost old English style art nouveau. Enjoyed meal and at less than £75 for 2 including a glass of wine in Central London great value

Unfortunately, the restaurant was packed the night we went. We had made a reservation through Open Table for a party of 4 but were treated as walk-ins and given a table near the door and next to a table of 10 who were extremely loud. As a result, the service was below par and we could hardly hear ourselves over the din. The wine waiter was lacking in education and skills and we were left to pour our own wines during the meal. The food was also below par— 3 of us had the house specialty (schnitzel) which was dry and lacking in presentation. Overall, this was a disappointing experience compared to favourable dining at other restaurants in the group — Bellanger and Colbert. Ver carta
