what an excellent place. we were a great family celebration that celebrated a great birthday, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, loud and enthusiastic children received their ancestors quickly! the food was super and beautifully presented. the personal was very pleasant, but not intrusive. we were so impressed.

Well, what another amazing experience at the Devonshire Arms. We have been numerous times now and have had a tremendous meal on every occasion. The food is just 1st class! Not forgetting the staff, who are welcoming, professional and friendly, plus all set in an amazing setting. It really delivers in every aspect of what you want from a special evening out. well earned travel away for my men late birthday. the staff was great, the room was beautiful (clean, fresh, great bathroom) and the eating was amazing. we stayed for 2 nights and fortunately stayed longer. the location was perfect for those who want to explore the peak district. it is not surprising that this place has such excellent reviews, we have already recommended it to others. thanks for the nice stay.

Absolutely loved this place. My wife and I stayed here last week and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home the food was of a very high quality and very generous portions. We were lucky enough to book the suite room and wow it was beautiful Absolutely spotlessly clean it looked brand new. But the best thing about this place are the people who work there. we were here for three nights and were thrilled that the room was spacious, fresh, immaculate and modern. the lavazza machine is a perfect note. they have created a boutique hotel of highest quality. we were on a dinner bed and breakfast package and the meals were excellent. an interesting mix of menu choices that are perfectly prepared by the talented team in the kitchen. a great choice for the breakfast included continental. the service was simply amazing from a well oiled team. highly recommended.

Fantastic service from the Devonshire Arms! From booking to eating the whole experience was first class. We booked a table for 10 for my sons 17th birthday. I was sent confirmation and the preorder document within 5 minutes of my call. We added another guest too at no extra trouble. Staff were friendly on arrival and extended impeccable service throughout the night. The food!! Exceptional. So tasty and you could tell the menu was considered and everything had been cooked with care. Steak was cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef!
