Stuck in a small side room where staff kept forgetting us. Service charge automatically added to bill even though I complained 3 times about the service.

As always the food at Drunken Monkey was really good. Fortunately sat on a table at the back, which is quieter than sitting in the front. Great Happy Hour cocktails too!! A must if you love dimsum and cocktails! Ver carta

Really yummy food, would definitely go back! I had the drunken noodles and have been fancying them ever since! Please open one in south east London! Our waitress was really lovely and made our experience even better!

Really good food, the bar was very loud and noisy and dark, but glad to have booked a table and be seated in the restaurant away where it was a quieter. Good happy hour on cocktails and would recommend for dim sum and cocktails on happy hour!

We half considered cancelling the reservation for the devastating reviews on Google Maps. It was actually quite nice though. Service was all right and the food was good. The music is way too loud though. Next to impossible to have a conversation on one of the larger tables. Ver carta

Terrible to see what has happened to my once favourite restaurant. Visited on a Saturday at 8.30pm. Far too hot, far too loud, slow service, majority of draught beer was sold out, several dishes unavailable, tables were enormous so chatting over the loud music was impossible. Brought my girlfriend for dinner and left incredibly disappointed/embarrassed.

I went to Drunken Monkey with a group of ladies for a catch up. The initial waitress who was dealing with us was very helpful and directed us to the set menu which is good value for money. However, another waitress (who we later found out was the manager) came along with the bottle of proscesco that we had ordered and proceeded to pop the bottle in front of us. We kindly asked her to pop the bottle away from the table and her response was extremely abrupt. Instead of popping the bottle, she decided to walk away and direct another member of staff to us. Unfortunately i did not have the greatest experience here, compared to many restaurants that exceed great customer service. First of all the waitress did not seem aware of the menu or familiar with which food was suitable for someone with milk intolerance. Apparently the only vegetarian options available without milk would be the vegetable section only. As an oriental customer at a chinese restaurant, i tend to be familiar with what has milk in and what hasnt (i always double check just incase) and unfortunately she had to get the manager after i questioned her on her knowledge.
