The place is small but lovely. Really nice decoration. the staff is nice a the owner cant do anymore to pleased customers. nice coffee shop.

Absolutely fantastic afternoon tea. Lovely service and fresh and tasty soup, sandwiches and cakes. The highlight for us was being able to choose which soup we wanted and which sandwich fillings too -we loved how personalised the experience was . Thank you

I ordered afternoon tea delivery. The sandwiches could have been better, as they were oddly shaped squares with thick bread that resembled doorsteps. There wasn't much filling and I didn't receive salmon cream cheese or coleslaw with the ham. However, the cakes and scones were delicious, and the soup was lovely. Ver carta

We experienced wonderful, friendly service and and was impressed with the exceptional menu. Really good, home cooked food, offering something different from other places around. I ordered a breakfast omelette that came with toast and a good coffee. I struggled to decide what to have and will definitely be back for some more delights!

This restaurant has become our favorite spot in Ormskirk, which says a lot considering the abundance of cafes and restaurants in town. I especially enjoy the beautifully presented salads, but all of the freshly prepared food looks fantastic. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and they even recognize us when we walk in. With a diverse menu and delicious homemade cakes, this place is a winner.

We are doing a tour of Ormskirk trying jacket potato and beans... our first place award goes to Gavin The Edge. We chose the Bacon and Beans topping and it was an absolute pleasure to eat it. This little gem is slightly out of the centre but it is well worth the extra few yards..We have eaten here quite a few times since lockdown was lifted and can honestly say we have never ever had a bad experience. 3 of us used this establishment for lunch after a gruelling 30km walk around West Lancs. Super friendly service and very welcoming. We had a variety of items from the different menus. Full English breakfast. Cheese and onion pie with chips and beans. Myself having Salt and pepper chicken baguette. With a pot of tea for 3. All arrived together, and hot. We each commented on how good each choice was. Decent size portions and very flavourful. Would defo visit again if in the area. Thanks. (The walkers from Bolton)

The Edge is our go to cafe most Saturday mornings. We’ve not been in for a few weeks now due to other commitments and we are missing our weekly visit. The food is reasonably priced, freshly made and lovely. My usual smashed avocado with smoked salmon and poached eggs with chilli flakes is gorgeous. They even got in a pepper mill to sate my need for cracked black pepper on everything! My wife usually has the breakfast frittata which is fantastic. Friendly service from the lovely staff who are always happy to accommodate any requests. The cafe is relatively small and has a mixture of table sizes and some Pullman type bench seats (which are a little tight for the larger visitors). They get lots...

Have you ever watched The Simpsons? Have you seen that scene where Homer says mmmmm Chocolate! ? Well that 's how I feel every time I have one of their chocolate milkshakes. I implore you to try one, you 'll feel as if you are in chocolate heaven when you have one. Their chocolate milkshake is truly a work of art and is absolutely divine to drink. My favourite meal there is the jacket potato with vegan chilli. Now the jackete potato is divine. It 's so fresh that I felt they must have grown it themselves! The skin is super crisp too and I love the way the butter is perfectly melted on it. The chilli is gorgeous. It 's not too spicy, its not too mild. It 's just right for everyone to taste. T...
