"This pub is located at the end of Old Amersham, and the lady at the bar was very friendly and welcoming. There were plenty of seating options, and when the sun is shining, the pub garden is a lovely place to relax. The food we ordered—a chicken sandwich—was decent. However, I had requested the chicken without breadcrumbs, and it came with them instead (there were two versions available). I didn’t mention it at the time."

The food was okay, but the service could have been improved. We sat with empty plates for a while in between courses, but the staff were friendly.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with our aunt, with a 4-year old in tow. We enjoyed the food, especially my mushroom wellington. The staff are excellent, couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you.

This is a beautiful little village with a lovely restaurant. The staff is very friendly and polite. The pub itself is small but has a charming atmosphere. The food was amazing and did not disappoint. I will definitely be back soon!

Lovely old fashioned pub, very warm greeting when we arrived. Arrived early but easily accommodated. Sat at a lovely table outside. Great lunch menu. Ordered the quinoa salad and it was lovely ! Companion had the linguini which was also great !
