We just stopped in for a quick drink, but what an incredible place! The locals were very welcoming, as was the owner. We will definitely be back and, hopefully, next time we can enjoy the exquisite food that was being served. They even offer a takeaway menu!

here have been some paints and even helped with a few jobs while the pub was done, fantastic eating, great service and dog friendly, which is even better. always torn between the entire menu when we visit. themselves have family from the middle of wales desperate to visit so that they can try. Ew menu.

Called in, had the most delicious game stew. The staff and fellow customers were friendly and very helpful. We are thinking of moving to Somerset and the far canal would be an excellent local. They were very dog friendly too. Loved the decor. You could spend the evening just studying the walls. Great place.

I had a wonderful dinner at the Far Canal last night. I ordered the chicken and leek pie, which was packed with tender meat and encased in a delightful pastry, served with mashed potatoes and a delicious gravy. My friend opted for the oriental duck with noodles, and she remarked that it was fantastic. The desserts were also incredibly tasty!
