"yesterday attended this old timepiece, the decor in the run of the years has not changed, but after I heard all the hype about the food, I was extremely disappointed. we ordered a small mix grill that was burned out when we complained to the owner (quality behind the...bar) was his answer: "they should have told us that they didn't want to do it well". I though ok, I wanted it cooked not burned, but as I didn't let it ruin the experience, so I thought I would then try the curries, so I went to the owner sohn to order on the counter) at which point I mentioned the burned grill again. this time was the answer: "oh, but they have to pay for the curry" I think the guy who thought I was after a freebie and did not recognize the burnt grill. I wanted to pay full for the curry and wanted to eat only half decent food that was not burned! as always the curry came and it was nice much better than this grill and it wasn't burned hey presto we get somewhere! so comes the cook to collect the dishes at the end. he sees the burned wings and claims, "they said it was all burned." Of course not, but these young people just didn't get it all night. frightening customer service, ambiente, burned eating, ok prices, but I wouldn't go with this shower- they go to the soho tavern instead of so much easier and better!"

After making a reservation and calling ahead, we were seated promptly at our table. However, the menus were carelessly placed on the table before we had fully settled in.

Food here is excellent and reasonably priced. Mixed grill is excellent and naans are supervised and can be shared by two. Will be my regular place to pick up good again food

On the right evening, depending on the mood of the cook, this could be the heavens on earth, the food can be exceptional and if the stars are perfectly aligned, you will find a great ambience. Definitely worth a visit. Ver carta

After getting married in the botanical gardens, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant and we were completely thrilled with our experience! The ambiance was stunning and the service provided by the waitstaff was excellent.

for years to listen to my family, but with good eating, great staff and one of the best pints of guinness iw each had it was my regular Wednesday pub the youngs since over a year. They even make us curries that are not on the menu

The best mixed grill pub in the area! You can't beat the prices and the food is always delicious. I recommend trying the chicken wings or chicken tikka with red sauce. The Grove has a more modern atmosphere, but the Farcroft wins in terms of price. There is a new contender in town for the mixed barbecue crown - the newly renovated Royal Oak. My party of 12 had a great time at the restaurant on Saturday night. We met with manager Jit and discussed the menu. The food was excellent and we enjoyed our time there for 3 hours. The drinks were also reasonably priced. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family. I suggest trying the BBQ Sizzler as an appetizer and the Goat Curry as the main course, both of which were delicious. They also have options for vegetarians.
