"While everyone else seemed to be having the best meal, ours was sadly lacking. Tomato salad was literally tomatoes. I get that there were balsamic pearls and basil jelly but it was literally a bowl of tomatoes. The elephant garlic was burnt in the veggie main option, leaving me with a bitter tagliatelle dish again it was literally a bowl of pasta with garlic... no bread no cheese The cheese plate was a lump of Stilton and some soggy homemade crackers/biscuits We complained at the end of each course but when we came to pay we had been charged for it all and the bar manager seemed surprised and said the chef would welcome feedback... we had fed back!! The manager took the price of 2 drinks off the bill... poor job. But being British we accepted gracefully and left. Shame as we stayed the night and breakfast the next day showed that the chef could indeed cook!!"

We've been coming to the Ferry Inn for a long time, but the new upgrades have made for a truly outstanding dining experience. The food was simply brilliant and the service low key but efficient.

The Ferry Inn is a beautiful restaurant where my wife had the best meal she had ever eaten. The staff and ambiance were exceptional. We are planning on returning and have already made a reservation in the hopes of experiencing an even better atmosphere. Ver carta

The staff and food at this restaurant were exceptional! I highly recommend the steak. Due to Covid restrictions, our visit took place in the larger event space instead of the usual seating area, but this was understandable given the circumstances. Despite the limitations, we still enjoyed a fantastic meal and friendly service.

Amazing. The quality of this menu and everything about the food is incredible. We live in London and eat out a lot. This food is Michelin star quality for an insanely reasonable price (three courses for £30). The pub is beautiful. Very atmospheric with lovely fires burning. The tables are well spaced and everything was very clean and COVID 19 safe. We will definitely be back.
