"One of our party is a vegetarian for health reasons, so we called ahead to inquire about the cooking methods for the chips at this restaurant. We were initially informed that the chips were cooked separately from fish and meat, so we made a reservation. However, upon arrival and further questioning, we discovered that the chips were in fact cooked in the same fryer as everything else. Despite having several dishes marked as vegetarian and vegan on the menu, it was clear that they were not truly vegetarian-friendly due to the shared fryer and the presence of dishes containing parmesan cheese, which may contain animal fat. We decided to leave and find another place to eat. It's a shame because the pub is lovely and situated on the Riverside, with great beer. However, the misleading menu was a letdown. Vegetarians should be cautious as not everything labeled as vegetarian or vegan actually is. In terms of food, we rate it a 1, service a 3, and atmosphere a 4. Overall, we would not recommend this restaurant to fellow vegetarians."

really nice pub for a drink-pit stop. it didn't try to eat that, but it looked like nice pretty simple pub food. super helpful chap that works here helped us “park” (cough) the boot and others after us, which helped make it easy for a first (recurring) timer.

The staff, especially the man who assists with docking and casting off, were incredibly helpful. The bar staff were friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was beautiful and the Norfolk Adder cider was a must-try. Additionally, there were herons and other birds visible from the trail in front of the restaurant, making it a great spot for bird enthusiasts.

The food at this restaurant is exquisite and the staff is outstanding - I absolutely loved it! I dined in for dinner and the price per person was between £20 and £30. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5. I highly recommend trying the burger, chips, and seafood platter. There is plenty of parking available, including free parking options.

Oh I hate to be negative .we found new owners .So the carvery was not so good .I found it hard to cut the roast potatoes I can only assume they had been in the oven for too long no boiled potstoes either and the carrots..we're barely cooked. I would say some would be very happy. But the previous owners offered a better carvery the meat server had barely spoke ..strange atmosphere too . sorry. the date was 8th October at 12.45pm Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Sunday Carvery

I visited a restaurant in Norfolk with some friends during a trip. The place was lovely and the staff was polite. I inquired about vegan options and was told they had a Moving Mountains burger that could be made without cheese or coleslaw. I ordered it, but when the burger arrived, it had cheese and coleslaw on it. I asked for it to be remade and when it returned, there was still a significant amount of cheese on the burger and even under the fries on the plate. I requested to speak to the manager, who claimed the burger had been remade fresh, but I felt that the presence of cheese was still too much.

I was on a trip the Norfolk bread with some friends. This place seems really nice and the staff was polite. I asked if they could serve any vegan options, all they had was a Moving Mountains Burger that could make them without the cheese or Coleslaw. I specifically asked. The Burger came with cheese and Coleslaw. I asked to restore what they did. When the restored dish arrived, there was a fairly material amount of cheese that retaliates around the outside of the burger. I also found cheese under the frits on the plate. I asked to speak to the manager who insisted that the dish had been made afresh on a new plate, but honestly, if that were the case, it would only make the intake of the chee...

The service at this restaurant is friendly and the food is top-notch. A gentleman was very helpful in assisting with mooring our boat. I highly recommend this place. There is plenty of room around the tables for wheelchair accessibility. The dinner menu is excellent, with prices ranging from £20 to £30 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a 5-star rating. Recommended dishes include Chocolate Brownie, Scampi and Chips, Sunday Roast, Fish and Chips, Beef Burger, Soup, Fish Cake Starter with Poached Egg, Cromer Crab, Hot Dog, Gravy, Sausage, Antipasti Platter, Burger, Chips, Pint of Carlsberg, Ribs, Sunday Carvery, Pulled Pork, and Seafood Platter.
