The food in the flaming fryer is so much better than it was with its previous owners... recipies changed and improved! Great food!

The food served here is typical of most take-aways. Also there are a few scattered places to eat in. Food is nice and fresh and very popular locally.

Not the best at all..The fish tastes frozen and the chips are very oily. The meal was very expensive and a small portion. I would go elsewhere in the furture. Ver carta

The staff at this restaurant were extremely friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! I was also impressed by their attention to social distancing measures. Well done!

I stopped using this fish and chip shop last year as the quality was poor... Have recently started using again on a regular basis as the standards are much higher. Fresh, Hot, Quality food. At the right money..

We used to go there all the time, not so much now, they have great fish and chips, and if your lucky you’ll be served by the the lovely older lady. If not you’ll get teenage aggressive, surly disinterested **** taking bunch of yobs. Ver carta

Visited the Flaming Fryer whilst staying at the nearby campsite. Was popular with the locals and I can see why. Good fish and chips cooked fresh while you wait. The curry sauce looks different to what we are used to but really tasty. Will definitely visit again if we return to this area.

Went in for fish and chips was asked if wanted large or small so I ordered two large cod and chips well what a let down large fish was the size of a birds eye portion of fish in batter and the chips tasted lovely all 10 chips I kid you not large portion is 10 chips you need to sort portions out otherwise people won’t be back.

I thought ordering by phone would be easier to avoid waiting, but upon arrival at the restaurant, I was asked if I had ordered. I responded that I had ordered by phone and was told to wait with five other people. After waiting for well over half an hour, I noticed a rock salmon in a different section, accompanied by some dried up cod. I inquired about the fish that had been staring at me for so long, and was told it was indeed mine. This prompted others nearby to inquire about their orders as well. The fish turned out to be very dry, but the chips, while fresh, were not even cooked when we got home. I would have considered canceling the order, but it wasn't for me and would have meant waitin...
