"Had a lovely work meal here, held in a separate section of the pub. Food was delicious, Diet Coke tasted a little odd and had some difficulty achieving “no ice” on a not particularly warm evening, but otherwise the service was great: both friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed the meal overall and would gladly return in the future with my family. That’s partly because I wanted the cheesecake for pudding, so did my colleague next to me, and there was only one left! I think she enjoyed it and I had a very nice Black Forest profiterole instead. For main, I had the classic burger and fries that were both spot on. The side of onion rings were the pre-made ones with the oniony doughy stuff in the middle rather than slices of onion, so I wouldn’t order those again, but appreciate that could well be a personal choice aspect and it didn’t take away from the overall very pleasant visit. Parking: Decent sized car park though with all of us there I could tell it was quite busy and there weren’t obviously an abundance of spaces. Could be more hidden away (it was very dark) but if the place were really busy it felt like parking could be a challenge."

The staff at this restaurant were very unfriendly and rude when I called to make a reservation. The service was poor and the atmosphere was lacking.

this is the local pub of my friend and I can't recommend it enough! they have special vegan flavors (mayo etc. another vegan special every day, and several vegan options on their regular menu. it is also a great pub with a great atmosphere at any case check it out!
