Very disappointing. Poor service cold food. Wouldn't recommend on this experience.

good food, but service not so good. the waitress knocked a drink over me, offered me no free, the waitress sent desserts to false tables.

they even knew that I had booked through open table, their booking system doesn't work pretty bad. they didn't even expect us, just as good they weren't busy!

The food was delicious, however, the service was lacking. The waitress accidentally spilled a drink on me and did not offer a replacement, and desserts were sent to the wrong tables.

The booking was efficient and table was reserved when we arrived. Typical Vintage Inn. Our order took 1 hour to arrive. Would expect no more than 40 mins we are sure our server 'lost ' our order. Fillet steak was cooked ok but not normal fillet texture.

Open table failed yet again. Although we had a reference number, the restaurant did not. This also happened to us at the otter. The restaurant fitted us in which was lucky as they were busy. The food was spot on again. Sunday roast perfect. Service second to none. Drinks a puddings spot on.

Although the quality of the food was nice, all of our group was disappointed with the portions of the roast dinner. One piece of carrot and one piece of roast parsnip is mean on a dinner! Items such as stuffing were missing completely. All felt hungry after the main meal, and none of us are what you would call big eaters. Felt very disappointed overall.

it was very busy and therefore the service was somewhat slow. the staff was friendly and helpful. a good selection of food, although the salad served instead of fries, was hardly conceivable! we will return as it is a good place to catch up with friends. the sign on the driveway could be illuminated as if they don't know where to go, it's easily missed in the dark.

After several good visits to the Flying Fox this was by far our worst experience. Initially there was difficulty booking a table and we ended up with two reservations. When we got there it became very clear that there was a definite shortage of staff on duty. This meant there was a delay in taking our order and then it took longer than has been our experience in the past for our food to arrive at the table and the place didn't seem particularly busy. Finally nobody came to clear our plates once we had finished and thus we were not asked about desserts. Finally I had to go to the bar and ask for the bill. We will go back to eat there again and hopefully the good level of service will have bee...
