"We go for the food which is always delicious. Set meal for 2. We have noticed a smaller amount for the entre but still excellent and overall plenty of quality and quantity. We had our desert to go which we enjoyed 2 hours later. Service is always very good. Highly recommended Thai meal."

"We went to this restaurant for a birthday lunch and decided to order from the happy hour lunch menu. For starters, we had the pate with salad, which was very tasty. The salad dressing was delicious and everything tasted freshly made. For the main course, we chose the chorizo chicken pasta, which had plenty of chicken chunks mixed in with the pasta. The sauce was creamy and had a nice kick of spice. All of the dishes were freshly made and the service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back to try the two steaks for £35 deal, as the couple at the table next to us had it and it looked amazing."

"After seeing the amazing pictures on facebook we decided to give this place a chance. Upon walking in we were hit in the face by the most powerful wet dog smell, I looked at the tired people sitting at the bar and thought seating must be upstairs or another part of the building we were taken around the corner where there are aprox 8 tables and were given menus covered in dried food. We decided to stick it out and ordered two mains from the menu thinking it would be worth it if the food was nice. We were the second customers in the restaurant area. the first couple were served their food yet after sitting for an hour still no food was brought out to us. A family who arrived a good 45 minutes after us were served their starters and i could see a few dishes here and there beings served with no apparent system in place. Another couple who had been there almost as long as us got up and left, thats when we also realised it was time to cut our losses and go. I asked the waitress if we could pay for the two cokes we ordered and at that point there was still no suggestion that the food was almost ready so we left. Overall thoughts, Building is VERY tired like a working mans club, very understaffed, dirty floor, dirty menus, terrible customer service, a very poor mumbled apology as we left about a kitchen staff not turning up to work."

"This a very nicely decorated, quaint pub that seems to serve a nice selection of food. Staff were exceptionally friendly, the atmosphere was decent (hard to judge as there was only mine and 1 other party in) no loud music and tables were a comfortable distance from each other. However, as an allergy sufferer I notified the member of staff who said it was unlikely I could have any of the food at all. She, quite rightly, asked the chef who refused to take my order on the allergy basis which I completely understand as a small establishment not all allergies can be catered to. They did absolutely adhere to all legislation relating to allergies and I appreciate their “better safe than sorry” attitude as many small establishments would not have the same attitude. The only note that I would say is maybe have a sign on the door/ website/ Facebook to notify customers beforehand. I’d like me you are an allergy sufferer I would highly recommend the Stackyard which is directly opposite as they have better capacity to deal with the issue, then back to the stables for drinks. The food did look lovely at the stables but I can’t give a representation as I never actually ate it. I hope to be welcomed back to the stables one day for drinks and a packed lunch."
