Been coming to this pubs for years, unbelievable food and beer! Lovely family pub, great warm atmosphere to visit with friends or family. Best meal in Buntingford (or surrounding areas) .

We visited on the off chance of a Sunday lunch and were not disappointed, the Sunday roast meats were perfectly cooked with a nice Yorkshire and fresh veg. Had we had more time we would have stayed for this afternoon. The new management have worked hard to turn the pub around after previous landlords let things go do not go by the previous negative reviews they are no longer relevant

Here’s a quick review for the fox , we went last night for the Friday fish night and it was amazing we had white bait calamari to start , then both opted for the fish chips with sticky toffee pudding and vanilla cheesecake to finish all the dishes were perfect with fish and chips being one of my favourites it really didn’t disappoint and nice to see hand cut chips which were perfect staff were very attentive , great atmosphere would highly recommend Ver carta

What a quaint little public house this is, tucked away with a delightful beer garden, I know as iv also visited when in full bloom, the atmosphere is both warm and welcoming and the staff really can’t do enough for you, they pour the perfect pint and a wonderful gin and tonic for the lady friend, the food is absolutely top draw also, it really is a quintessential English pub with lashings of tradition, the perfect place to while away the hours with a drink in your hand, one couldn’t recommend enough.

I am a regular at this pub and don't feel it gets the credit it deserves. As soon as you walk through the door you are welcomed by Rob, Emerald, and their fantastic team with a smile. With an outstanding selections of Lagers, Ales, and spirits you really are spoilt for choice. If I could eat there every day then I would; the food is brilliant, they quite literally cater to your needs. In the summer time the garden really shines, it's well kept and their are plenty of places to sit. If they let me, I would never leave. The Fox are also a huge supported of local causes, sponsoring both the local Football, and Cricket teams. Massive kudos to Rob, Emerald the team for all they do.

We had an off the moment visit to The Fox yesterday, which we often do. A beautiful day and my 3 Grandchildren wanted to walk to Aspenden and have a drink and a bowl of Rob's lovely chips. We all walked to The Fox and sat outside, which was lovely in the winter sun. Rob is so welcoming, even though rushed off his feet. We were only having a drink and chips for the Grandchildren, but their Mum and Dad had a Roast Beef dinner with the special Cawliflower Cheese and Mum had the Lasagne. The food and service was absolutely amazing. Shame we had a roast on at home as Nar and Dar (Grandparents) would have loved the roast as looked absolutely delicious which our son said it was and daughter-in-law... Ver carta
