First visit as moved to the area. BLT sandwich. One but of bacon but was burnt and not corrected at the time. I won't be returning.

We had the most amazing experience at this restaurant! After not visiting for 2 years due to the previous owner's rudeness, we decided to give it another chance under new management. We were greeted by friendly and accommodating staff, and the food and drink were fantastic. Thank you, we will definitely be returning in the future!

First visit in a long time now and the place is looking as lovley as ever but has a bit more of an abiance, weather was nice so sat out side , there was 4 of us all had starters and mains , the burger was really good my partner had fish dish and will be going back for it again, service a bit slow i think maybe it was her first day.

I have been frequenting this pub for 40 years and have never experienced such poor service, food, and decor. Ever since Phil and Tina left in the mid-2000s, the brewery has allowed couples with no personality for the license trade to take over. It's not difficult to see why the pub has declined. Now, there are a group of teenage girls behind the bar who are more interested in their phones than serving customers. The lack of a capable supervisor has transformed this once great community pub into a lifeless, soulless establishment.

Came here as where we tried to go wanted a pre order for a party of 6. Not The Fox though. And glad we came. Its a lovely little homely pub, quirky and welcoming. Decent choice of beers including no alcohol options. Starter was great. Excellent portions and fairly priced. I had been over heard saying I'd have liked whitebait, it was only on a sharing platter, however it was made as a solo portion especially for me which was a great start. And superb it was! Nice pie of the day, fish and chips also looked awesome. Overall a wonderful welcoming experience. Not the first time I've eaten in here but I will 100% go back again. No Roast Lamb by 1:30pm when service started at 12:00, Chicken on the menu was actually Turkey, no cherry pie when it came to dessert, Chocolate Brownie was served without ice cream Sticky Toffee Pudding had no sauce despite what was stated on menu. Waiting staff didn't seem to know what was going on and what was or wasn't available on the menu. All our drink orders delivered wrong during our meal. Service was very chaotic and disorganised, admittedly not helped by a kitchen plumbing issue but not excusable. During a visit before Christmas in 2023, I ordered the bruschetta and was met with a stale slice of bread topped with half a plum tomato and a few red onions. The Christmas dinner menu was also lackluster and poorly presented. Despite giving them the benefit of the doubt due to potential business, our recent Valentine's visit proved to be the worst yet. We ordered the tapas for two, priced at nearly £39 per person, and were shocked by the poor quality. The food looked bland, tasted bland, and was not worth the steep bill of almost £90 in total. Sadly this was not as hoped for, I booked for Fathers Day. First they couldn't find my booking, then after 3 attempts and 1/2 hour we got our correct drinks order. We then had to grab a waitress to take our food order and when she arrived the items on the menu were either incorrect or unavailable because there were alot of bar orders for food taken so insufficient product was accounted for. Went here for a meal last night with my inlaws. Hadn't been before, I purely picked this pub because it was half way between our house and my inlaws house and it seem to have really good reviews! But......I'm sorry to say that we were really disappointed! The staff were lovely and accommodating, so kudos to them for that! But the food was shocking!
