Simple yet delightful vegan pub options. The crumble with custard was a pleasant surprise; it was nice to see a true vegan dessert instead of just ice cream or sorbets.

Great to be back at one of our favourite eating places Staff very friendly and made us welcome in these tricky times. Look forward to going again soon and taking friends with us.

Stopped here after a walk at Longshaw. It has a decent separate vegan menu with a few options for starters, mains and dessert. We had a burger and curry respectively, and both were really tasty. Ver carta

I gave the food 4 stars, although it was good and very tasty, the bark meat and yorkshire pudding were a little chewing gum. the service was excellent, but we sat at the side of a window and it was cold and frightened. We said that.

the service was good, but the decor was tired and a little grubby. the food was ok, but my fish cake had not much fish in them and were quite small and cooked over. other members of our party were happy with their chicken cake and chicken snizel.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here after a beautiful local walk (Surprise View). Both dogs were made welcome as were we, by a very friendly, competent waitress who was unfazed by 1 of us needng to avoid dairy due to an allergy. Very reassuring that it was taken seriously. Ver carta

I had a chicken sandwich that was very small for the price they pay has not tasted bad, but not tasted amazing. my friend had the cod sandwich she enjoyed a lot, just said she needed more sauce (which I am sure they would have done if she had asked) not a bad little pub

This restaurant is part of a chain, but it's refreshing to see clearly marked vegan options on the menu. The food was delicious and the cozy pub atmosphere, with its many nooks and crannies, made it feel private and inviting rather than a big open space. Located in a great area for walking, this place is always busy so booking ahead, especially for weekend lunches, is recommended.

While the vegan options were a bit limited, the food at this restaurant was quite delicious. I started with the beetroot and pumpkin seed arancini, which were flavorful and tender. The vegetable penang curry and the apple and blackberry crumble with custard were also excellent choices. The service was a bit inconsistent and disorganized, but the kitchen staff clearly knows what they're doing. Ver carta
