Great country pub, very little room inside the pub but a lovely garden to sit in and enjoy the amazing food. Service was great the bar staff very polite, friendly and attentive, our meal took a little while to come but was well worth the wait. I would recommend The Fox to everyone. The food is good,but I've eaten there a few times now,but I wish the chef would cook the parsnips and carrots more ,they are not al dente but raw can't cut them with a knife and fork and are not pleasurable to eat,apart from that it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and beautiful gardens. If you're looking for a Sunday roast, this is the place. We parked up and then went for a rather muddy hour walk around the area before coming back for lunch. By far the best roast I've ever had out. Potatoes were crispy, meat was delicious, even the veg were great. Lovely pub feel to it. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This pub is amazing, I haven't been since I was about 19 (which is about 29 years ago), but my family have been many times as live locally and were there last, back in May and it wasn't that great, but under new management now and the food was outstanding. We had excellent service, a wonderful table for us all to celebrate 2 birthdays and our dog joined us too. Thanks to Leah and all the staff, we had a fab time and will be back Food: 5

Please do not listen to any negative comments on this pub! We found this pub on a walk and oh wow have we found our local! The food is amazing but the landlady is especially amazing!! she is so lovely and so accommodating every time we have visited the food is amazing! Service is exceptional lovely and cosy! This is my favourite pub in buntingford!! I’ve been to other pubs in the area as my family live there and you will not receive the same service/welcoming food experience anywhere else! If you are looking for good food, good service and a cosy pub please visit the fox in Aspenden!!
