"Firstly, the food was very good. The ensuite great. Atmosphere nice. The negatives were, very little space to hang clothes and right next to the entry door (when you hung your jacket etc. it impeded the door closing. In the ensuite there was nowhere to hang the hand towel. In the room, the secondary double glazing was stuck open. The staff in the bar were more interested in socialising with each other and one young girl customer kept going to the bar and drinking free shots. Restaurant staff were very good but need training. They just served food but could not work out other things such a finger bowl for when you had prawns. A bowl for the shells etc. Having said all this, we did enjoy our stay. Good size carpark No one at the reception popped to the bar to get someone Quick check-in No info given, eg food times,WiFi,breakfast Just where the room was The room. Was outside of the pub in a courtyard Room itself was very spacious and so was the bathroom WiFi excellent Bed super comfortable Shower hot and very powerful! Continental breakfast only included Evening meal was excellent good choices on the menu OK priced Location in a small village close to the train station.
