"rebooked the garden space in the dormy house during the stay near the fish hotel. the environment was very warm and welcoming, and overall eating was very good. but the service was lacking and made us confused by reconciliation. In view of the thoughtful and extensive weinlist we could see one of our favourite mixes from South Africa on the menu. after ordering, and about 15 minutes later, the server back to say there was a mistake, and they put the wrong varietal on the list and wanted to serve us a completely différent wein from this manufacturer. we ordered another bottle in harmony with the food we ordered. but our appetizers came before our wine. wait another 15 minutes (we are now 30 minutes in our dinner without wine) and the waiter comes with another bottle saying that they have lost our bottle, but for us to drink this while we wait. no explanation and not even the wine she poured. that was the last thing we saw from our waiter, because somehow the room was busy and she took the other guests for the rest of the night. we finally got our wee who was brought to the table without the cork. strange practice to get a restaurant of this caliber. when we finished our dessert, we fought for 20 minutes to get every server to recognize us or to delete our records. So we went to the server station to ask for the bill. we have observed our server work at least seven different tabs before we had to go up a second time. when the bill came, the server did not even ask us how our dinner was. we gave our credit card and the other server took it away. she returned 10 minutes later to say that she lost the connection. she gave us the card back and canceled the processing statement and said she couldn't charge our card. she did not know what to do and asked if we were with him at the reception (even if we were not guests of the hotel) will not return."

when we booked this restaurant 2 months ago, the website showed a completely separate menu from the restaurant potting shed. we booked the garden space in our 2nd night because of the different menus on the website, we were very disappointed to get the same menu as we had eaten from the night before. that is very lazy and totally unacceptable. had we said we had eaten in another facility?

We had a great time at this Afternoon Tea. It cost £80 (plus a £10 service charge) for everything shown in the picture, as well as a Sausage Roll each and 2 Scones each. We were satisfied by the end of the meal and couldn't even finish our scones. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the dry chocolate orange cake. We loved the Hoogly tea pots and timers so much that we ended up ordering some for ourselves!

Amazing short break. Staff couldn't be more helpful and pleasant, nothing was a problem and everything done with a smile. Great breakfast with complimentary **** Mary station. Spa facilities were brilliant, loved the out door hot tub. Electric car charging on site with 4 chargers available. My cable didn't work too well with them as connectors a bit short but no problem as they lent me their spare one. Lovely cookies and gift bag when leaving. Can't wait to go back Ver carta

We did a spa day at Dormy House, and it was such a treat! It was like a warm hug this winter! The outdoor hot tub, with the fire was stunning. The facilities and treatments were top-notch and we felt so relaxed and rejuvenated. Big thanks to Bobby and Fiona at the Spa for looking after us! Dinner at the Back Garden restaurant was utterly delicious. Marius, looked after us so well at the restaurant. And Alex from the bar made the most delicious margaritas we’ve had! Highly recommended!

I visited Dormy House to inquire about arranging a special celebration for when my partner hopefully proposed to me. I was extremely impressed with the level of help I received! I had the pleasure of meeting Chris, the hotel manager, who greeted me warmly and with great friendliness. Thanks to him and his team, I enjoyed a fantastic evening and the following day of attentive service in truly wonderful surroundings. The hotel features cozy fires, comfortable furnishings, stylish and elegant decor, and a lovely spa. I highly recommend Dormy House to anyone looking for a luxurious experience, whether it be a relaxing fireside drink or a memorable stay in this beautiful hotel. I will definitely...
