"We waited for over an hour for our first course: very over-cooked duck with vegetables which were not fresh. We couldn 't eat it. We didn 't think we would risk a pudding, so after coffee, we left. The duty manager did make a small deduction from the bill, but it did not compensate for the disappointment. There was also zero 'atmosphere '; it was like sitting in the hush of a church. One good thing was the restaurant manager (a lovely Polish lady) who was deeply apologetic, but obviously didn 't have the authority to do anything about it."

My boyfriend and I went for dinner on Friday night. The restaurant has an old fashioned charm about it. The service was excellent and the food was good. Well worth going.

A charming, nostalgic hotel with great food. The Hendon Burger, paired with crispy french fries and a flavorful sweet and spicy tomato sauce, is not only delicious but also visually appealing.

Our experience of the Hendon Hall Garrick Restaurant was excellent. The speed of service was just right for a romantic dinner, the waiters were exceptionally polite and genuinely attentive. The food was beautifully prepared and presented.

Worst dining experience of our lives. The service was extremely slow. The restaurant was not even busy. The management need training before they can begin to train their staff. The food was poorly presented. The tart was burnt, the Mediterranean salad came with cheddar instead of feta. The Mackerel salad was served as a piece of mackerel on a plate and the salad was brought in later separately. Would never go there again. Ver carta
