The George - Carta

Excellent food and service. Wild mushroom arancini and duck to die for means we will be visiting the George much more in the future. Our table of four had great meals in a great setting

the idea that the U.K does not have very good food, this evening went quite by. we had a very good meal at the george. you couldn't beat the ambiente of the place. it was a true highlight of our journey to the U.K.

only back from an amazing Sunday dinner. roast lamb was so delicate and tasteful. everything was perfectly cooked. At some point, nothing remained on my tellers and friends. the personal was attentive and friendly. Ver carta

Had a lovely meal at The George last night. It has a nice situation on the river and the service was excellent yet causal. Proactive and really considerate. Enjoyed our meals and the dessert was yummy. Would thoroughly recommend.

Had a beautiful meal! The food platters were amazing. Sat inside but had a brilliant view of the river! The cocktails were brilliant! All the staff were so friendly helpful and really enjoyed the evening. Will certainly be going back.

My Friend and myself have been for lunch must say it was amazing the food was lovely. Staff very welcoming nothing to much trouble. My little dog polly enjoyed all the attention from polly the waitress. Would recommend the lovely pub to all my friends well worth a visit. Ver carta

great place. it really enjoyed our lunchtime. super friendly service. the chicken burgers and sweet kartoffel fries were so beautiful. dog-friendly, even has a dog menu. covid conscious and included private ess huts outside. great place definitiw recommend to switch on for a light bite or main meal.

During difficult times, booked a 'gastropod '. This meant we were in a pod, heater and were able to feel ok eating out. Staff were excellent and had a lovely christmas menu which was great to eat. Would definately recommend to keep local businesses thriving at this challenging time and for those worried about eating out,felt completely safe.

we have decided by chance to drive to fordingbridge and on the way there already decided to visit the george we are so glad that we have made it! nice pub, great location, friendly staff that we sat in the beer garden, right at the river and the relaxing atmosphere a really pleasant experience next time, we will eat something the menu looks really good and other diners were very free about their food.
