Oh my just ordered takeaway fish and chips. The fish was HUGE and cooked to perfection. Delicious and the tartar sauce and minted peas were lovely. Chips were nice . Staff were lovely and a very efficient service. Thank you Ver carta

It was the best cream tea we’ve had! 2 huge scones, lots of fresh cream and jam, a pot of tea and best of all, the scones were nice and warm and fresh! A must for £6.95 a person! This is a lovely traditional inn with friendly and welcoming staff. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Both breakfast and dinner were of high quality. It's located in a great spot to explore the delights of Chagford and the surrounding area. I would definitely return for another visit and highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys traditional pub hospitality and local ales.
