good beer selection, friendly reception and beautiful environment. we didn't try it, but it looked out and melted well. many parking spaces on the back of the pub

The meal was not satisfying. There were no traditional options like pies, fish and chips, or chicken dishes on the menu. The fancy offerings did not appeal to me at all.

Absolutely delicious Sunday roast. I went for the smoked pork collar, and my fiancee had the lamb... Friendly staff, and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Also dog friendly which is a massive plus. An easy 5 stars

The restaurant has a lovely beer garden with a good variety of beers. I came here spontaneously with some friends on a warm Friday night and we had a wonderful time catching up. We spent our evening in the beer garden/hof area across from the Ironbridge, which was perfect for an early evening hangout.

I had an incredible Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The beef was delicious and the Yorkshire pudding was perfect. What really stood out was the fantastic service from the young waitresses. They had confidence, excellent customer service skills, and were genuinely friendly, which made a big difference to my dining experience. Ver carta

The restaurant provides good, friendly service with a nice selection of beer and a great atmosphere. The food, although just a sandwich and chips, was excellent and served with a smile. We enjoyed the company of other guests we met while sitting in the beer garden. The restaurant is dog and child-friendly, making it a very relaxing place to spend a lovely day.

While the menu may be limited and on the pricier side, the food at this restaurant is undeniably delicious. The staff members were also excellent. However, please note that this establishment may not be suitable for children under 10 as there is no menu catering specifically to them. I would recommend this restaurant for couples or groups of friends, but not for young families with kids.

The Golden Ball is our local. It’s friendly and food has always been good. We haven’t eaten here for a while but decided to have a mid week treat as my sister in law ate here recently and said that she had a great meal. It was really delicious. I had the goats cheese risotto which I find can be bland but it had so much flavour, my husband had pork loin which again was cooked perfectly with a lovely well balanced mustard sauce. Even the salad was lovely! I passed on my compliments and was told there was a new chef. We will be returning again very soon. Ver carta
