The Good Burger - Carta

No es la mejor hamburguesa de la ciudad, pero es una opción decente si vas con prisa.Recomiendo la hamburguesa barbacoa y papas fritas con ajio.

Copia carbón de Shake Shack en España. Aunque un empleado lo niegue. Es bueno. Encontrar asientos puede ser un desafío y las hamburguesas son pequeñas. Pero bueno.

El lugar estaba sucio La línea tenía entre 20 y 50 personas durante todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí. La cerveza se servía en un vaso casi demasiado caliente para sostenerla. Ver carta

We visited here during a day trip to Barcelona as part of our week staying on the Costa Brava. Really modern take on traditional tapas, tasty and well presented. We enjoyed 6 dishes and felt that the service was also good. Situated just behind Placa Catalunya; it is worth seeking out for something a little different.

Nos topamos con este restaurante local y moderno que ofrece una excelente calidad, auténticas tapas y una buena relación calidad-precio. Recomendamos altamente The Balmes. El restaurante tiene un estilo perfectamente elegante y un excelente servicio al cliente. Es un placer recomendarlo, debería estar en la lista de lugares imprescindibles para visitar en Barcelona.

Nos topamos con este restaurante de camino a Tibidabo. Nos tomó un tiempo que nos atendieran mientras solo había 3 grupos más en el lugar. Una vez que llegó la comida (después de esperar unos 40 minutos), estaba buena. Las tapas estaban realmente deliciosas y los niños pidieron hamburguesas y se comieron cada bocado. Luego esperamos otros 15 minutos para pedir postre (finalmente fui al bar de enfrente y ordené). ¡El pastel de chocolate estaba EXCELENTE! Went in for lunch. The staff looked disinterested which maybe is common in Europe/Spain? The tapas were fairly good but the main dishes were really bad. Someone had a chicken burger, it was basically just a chicken patty without bread and it was ice cold. Someone else in my party had the fish which was lukewarm. I had the Spanish sausage and it was undercook. I feel this is unacceptable at any restaurant. The dessert included with the meal was the only highlight, it was some sort of mojito ice cream. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place. Maybe we were unlucky but there's no excuse to undercooked meat.

I've been coming to The Balmes at least once a month to hold an informal event. The staff is very helpful and accommodating and the location is very convenient by a myriad of combinations of bus, metro and commuter rail. The daily lunch menu st 12€ is a delight and elegantly served on thin rectangular slate trays. Today I tried a combination of salmorejo (a cold tomato soup, similar to the more well-known gazpacho), pork slices with a creamy mustard sauce and dessert. The accompanying vegetables I elected were elegantly served and not fried! The wait staff are attentive and open to queries, however elementary they may appear to be, and clearly like to work in this restaurant!

We stumbled upon this place after a long day of hop on and hop off. We sat down after we saw their interesting menu, the restaurant wasn 't at all busy except the large table full with young intoxicated German travellers. We ordered a few tapas dishes and seafood Paella for 3 people it was good but service is lacking for €76.50 bills we had spent. The waiter and the girl behind the bar were too focussed on the large table, what a let down !!!!!!!! The noise coming from large table gets escalated from shouting, broken beer bottles, clapping, you name it.
