"Upon arriving in Carlisle we asked in a local shop at the bus station where the best coffee shop was. Just a five minute walk to The Good Sisters. What a lovely little place, I so much prefer these coffee shops to the big name brands. The staff were so good, happy to help. The food was great too. A nice selection, well presented and good quality. I had the Sausage Pattie Brioche Bun. It was tasty and to be recommended. Well done to all"

Love this cafe the staff are so friendly and the food is amazing so fresh, everything is homemade. And the cinnamon buns are the best I have ever had. Very addictive. .

The ladies are just amazingly lovely people, so going in is always a pleasure. Their cakes are something else, and they have the best brownie I've ever tasted. Food is always fresh and delicious.

I visited the good sister a few weeks ago to taste some of their takeaway eaters, and I was not disappointed! had some delicious burritos, followed by incredibly good cinnamon boobs and coffees. I'm always back, it was incredibly grateful.

Generally I have no idea how to pronounce many of the dishes but they all taste fantastic are a great price and suitable for people with allergies yet flavour is never sacrificed. Great selection of drinks, good hot chocolate and take out is available.

What a great place! I popped up to the area for a day out and a local shop recommended The Good Sister as the best place to get a coffee. They were not wrong! Great coffee and the food. I’ll be back when I’m local. Friendly staff and good food is always a winner.

had simply had a dearly lunch of the ladies in the good sister. the sweet potato falafel salatbox is fantastic. the ingwerbread mocha has not jumped on the ingwerbread, so it was extra nice, and the advertising bread with lime mascapone is so far up on my road! nice that I finally got there, will be back!

we were a few doors down in the travelodge and wanted another breakfast. I had the granola and my partner had the frittata. both delicious. we both thought the coffee could be stronger with a tad, but that can be personal preference. friendly, quick service. you could look into the kitchen and the lunch smells good, so we came back a few hours later to eat again.
