"I had booked a table for two. When arrived I waited at arrival desk and the young waiter checked us in with no smile and just pointed at a table very close to a crowded table. We asked to move to one of other empty tables and the waiter reluctantly accepted. The other waiter arrived to take the order for drinks. When I asked for Stella larger and 7up for my partner, she abruptly with no word of sorry, said “no we don’t do them”. So we had to choose what the available drinks were. Then ordered well done sirloin steak that arrived very tough. We had asked for English mustard that didn’t arrive and had to find a waiter to get one. I had used this pub some time ago and found the staff polite and with excellent food but sadly not this time. I will not use this pub again."

Meal was lovely and we didn't have to wait very long for it. Staff were attentive, but not intrusive. Parking: Can be a little difficult to park sometimes, as there is limited parking, but generally you can park on the road if you can't get in the car park. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5

As a person with celiac disease, I was pleased to discover that this restaurant has a wonderful system in place for entering dietary restrictions using a special tablet. The service provided by Tom was outstanding. The food was delicious and served promptly, even during a busy time. The cost per person is between £10-£20. I rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.
