The Greyhound - Carta

Had a good lunch at the Greyhound with friends for a birthday lunch. Good wholesome food and a nice atmosphere and reasonable prices

Deciding on where to meet some friends who lived on the other side of London we remembered this pub/restaurant from a year or so ago.

So disappointed with the food today. Loads of items missing, the special board wasn’t read out to us. Veg was hard and meat was fatty. Ver carta

I like this place, but seemed to be underoccupied, which leads to delays in taking and ordering. I have been visiting since 2013 and eating is consistently good and value for money. personal is always welcoming

Roast potatoes undercooked. Nobody asked if we wanted another drink or if food was ok. Empty plates sat on the table for 20 minutes with several members of staff ignoring. Waited another further 15 to pay after we asked for the bill.

lunch on sunny Saturday afternoon with some friends. the weather was lovely. could have a table outside, but the menu is slightly reduced and did not want to be surrounded by smokers (unsafe if they could smoke on the terrace, but did not want to have any chance). Ver carta

my worst experience. table of 8: each order had at least one problem. the personal began to tell us what was not available. we have placed and waited our order. in the next few hours the waitress returned 4 separate times to ask some of our party to change orders, as their previous choice was no longer available. after 2.5 hours, the food began to arrive. we decided to leave, then serve the food to us, which was either raw, cold or overcooked and usually a combination of all these things on the same plate. just disgusting.

today for lunch. online, there is a clear vegan menu when they come there, there are also dishes marked (ve) when my meal was originally brought out there it had a yorkshire on it, which was clear was not vegan. So just make sure they go there, check them and check them back with the personal that everything is on their teller vegan! they have some good options to start vegan sausage rolls and suppening, move mountain burger and fry for porn. a beautiful place to spend the afternoon, just make sure that they make it clear that they are their nutritional requirements even when the dish says it is vegan.

was already at many places on this place and eating is always great. the service on Sunday was bad. 3 of us asked for the trio roast (turkey, rinderpork) to say that the truthahn was sold out (on Sunday at 3:30 o'clock). we asked for lamb or something else to replace it, but you said the whole dish was from the menu and we were not allowed 2 meats or a substitute. So two of us ordered bark, I ordered the lamb. the size of the lamb in comparison to the bark was actually funny my 2 friends laughing about the size of the meat part special (the rest, veg, kartoffeln etc were good). When we called the waitress, she went to the manager. the manager turned to the table and grabbed her cheeks, I sai... Ver carta
