The Gurkha - Carta

This restaurant is perfect for families. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restroom was kept very clean.

First time going well looked after, food was fantastic Gurkha curry was amazing chicken and lamb will visit again elderly mum loved the choice. Very friendly great atmosphere, kitchen always being cleaned. Well recommended

Visiting Weymouth four or five times a year we usually start off with lunch at The Gurkha on Friday. We have never been disappointed. There is plenty of choice from the all you can eat buffet and service is courteous and discreet. Ver carta

The buffet food wasn’t too bad, but I’m giving a low score because the evening was spoilt by the restaurant charging us extra for desserts that we weren’t told wasn’t part of the buffet. Their response was that we should’ve asked!!

Excellent food, great value, friendly staff. Would thoroughly recommend and definitely will be going back! Usually I’m not a big fan of buffets as the food often all tastes the same but that’s not the case with Gurkha, all the food tasted amazing!

I wanted to visit so often. 8 family members and what a waste of our hard-earned empathy. the food was spicy, we had to scrape the tablet for eating literally. the tiny part of the food we had was dry over...Salty . in any case will not be visited again. Ver carta

I don’t recommend wasting your money on going here. The glasses were dirty! They Had hardly any food on the buffet counter and had to wait 20 minutes for the food I wanted. Waiter was rude, he Lent across me to grab my plate and...didn’t ask if I was finished. He just told me to move. I won’t be going back that’s for sure!

The staff at this restaurant are incredibly rude and hostile. Despite being regular customers, they refused to accommodate us for no reason and even charged us an extra £2 for something they deemed unnecessary. The atmosphere is unpleasant due to the terrible vibes from the staff, and we will not be returning because of their behavior. The manager or owner is just as awful. I advise avoiding this place and not giving your money to these disrespectful individuals.

Let me start off by saying it's set out in a lovely place with lovely views on the river. If there's an all you can eat around I'm there, my favourite food is Asian so with the reviews of this place we booked. Staff were...welcoming and gave us a table by the window looking out over the river. Food at a glance looked nice then as you walked around a very small buffet you could see the food was just sitting in oil and the tongs were red hot. Taste wise food was very standard to low like it was old food or food that had been cooked before then just warmed up.
