Large, warm and comfortable en suite rooms, detached from pub, with very good breakfasts. Also have an excellent evening menu should you wish to use it. Would use again.

I had a wonderful experience at this charming pub located in the peaceful village of Stakeford. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. It's great to see this local gem doing so well! I would give the service and location a solid 4 out of 5.

What a lovely find! I stayed overnight for a work trip and was pleasantly surprised by the clean and modern room. The pub was beautifully decorated and well-furnished, with friendly staff. The best part was that both the pub and accommodation were dog-friendly! The food was delicious, with generous portion sizes at a reasonable price.

My wife, our dog, and I went for an early dinner at this restaurant. We were happy to find that the bar area is dog-friendly! We ordered chicken enchiladas with fries and tacos loaded with salsa, cheese, and guacamole. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly, so we definitely plan to return.

I only stopped in for a drink instead of just walking by, and it seems like a popular spot for dining. I visited on a Wednesday night around 6pm, and the restaurant was only about half full at that time. When I left, it was completely full, so I would recommend making a reservation if planning to dine during busy times. There is a beer garden on the side, a nice bar area, and plenty of parking in front.

Food and Drinks: If you enjoy your food drenched in grease and oil, this is the place for you. The fish and chips were completely soaked in oil, with oil running off the plate. The chizorio we ordered was as dry as cardboard dipped in an oily sauce. The chicken wings were also swimming in oily sauce. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, we were offered a free drink as an apology. I would recommend staying far away from this restaurant.

I have been to this restaurant several times before and never had any complaints until now. Two out of the four main dishes we ordered were served cold and were left uneaten on our plates. When we informed our waiter, they appeared uninterested and did not offer an apology. We will not be returning for a while. Additionally, two out of the three desserts we ordered did not taste good and were thrown away after only a few bites. Overall, the service was rated 2 out of 5.

Placed drinks order before getting the menu and then being told that they had ran out of everything we wanted to order . No scallops , no scotch egg , no scampi , no chicken supreme and even no homemade chips. Waited over an hour for food to be served and it was not worth the wait. The loaded nachos had no taste apart from salt , no sour cream , the salsa, guacamole and cheese was just dumped on top so the nachos where just plain and dry under the top layer . The chef had forgot to serve the onion rings with the burger we ordered. Not once were we asked if everything was ok we had to get the attention of the staff as they were stood talking at the end of the bar . We sat for 15 mins waiting...
