Food average. Charged what the liked for drink . Different every time went to bar

I was with a bus trip for our dinner lovely place to stop off at. The food ? Cleanliness and staff were brilliant

Been many years since I visited the Hollybank. Decor the same, Great selection of drinks and big menu of foods. Food good quality and tasty. Service and staff was 1st class.

Service was a little bit slow but the staff were really pleasant and friendly. The food was very good especially the desserts. Everything including the drinks were reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

Meals so nice(curry,fajitas,belly pork and chicken skewers) we went back the next day..mince,curry and 2 amazing steak pies followed by Eton mess, new York cheesecake and snowball sundae with vegan icecream. Shame we on holiday and dont live local. The owner was a lovely man and went out of his way with great customer service

Definitely went downhill from previous visits, staff were friendly and attentive although once we got served just after 7pm, we 're told we close at 8. Macaroni was average but fajitas were excellent. We were sat near a couple of ladies whose language would make the hardest of sailors blush. Maybe better visiting at busier weekend times rather than during the week.

Excellent value for money, friendly atmosphere. Never felt rushed to free up table. Accommodated our table of 17 including 5 children with ease. Celebrating a 90th birthday staff went out of their way to ensure everything was in place including cutting the cake and providing boxes for everyone to take a piece home. Thoroughly recommend, our go to place for family get togethers

I have not been to The Hollybank for years. It still has the same decor and layout, which was nice in a quirky way. Family visited this afternoon (16 June 2024. Still recognise some of the long-standing staff with the usual good service. Food was good as ever, and it was nice to see the owner/manager helping out by taking orders and serving/clearing plates. Would recommend and go back.

It 's been a couple of years since I dined there, didn 't return because of the hygiene! But on dog walks I would pop in for a pint, always too be greeted by the manager/owner with a face of what do you want . Tonight he excelled himself, with more disapproval, and refusing to serve a pint at 6 55pm because of tomorrow 's service!!!!!!! Avoid at all cost! He doesn 't deserve your money!
