The Hollybank has been a family favourite for years and never fails to deliver great home cooked food with friendly service and value for money. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a sure thing.

Lovely lunch here. Well priced and cooked to perfection. Will go again for sure.Burger I had with haggis on top was one of the best I've had. Place nice and warm even if cold outside.Coffee waiting for friends was superb.

We just arrived in Stirling called into Holybank on off chance. No problem getting a table. The food service was excellent. I asked how hot the chilli was was given a sample to try. It was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Ver carta

The host was unfriendly and disrespectful. The food was awful, all frozen and microwaved. The meat was tough and hard to chew. Overall, the experience was disgusting and extremely overpriced. Dog food would likely be a better option.

We have had several festive meals out in the Stirling area recently but the Hollybank was by far the best. Food was excellent as were the portions. Service was first class and prices were very reasonable. We will certainly be back again soon.

Affordable and pleasant atmosphere, conveniently located. Limited vegetarian and vegan choices. The profiteroles were underwhelming with the use of whipped cream. The gin and tonic was delicious with real rhubarb. However, the service was a bit sluggish. Ver carta

we went as it had been a while since we were there last, however the place was freezing cold, my other half needed to put her coat on . This would perhaps be a consideration for future visits. On a plus the food was great and the service prompt and not over fussy.

We have visited this restaurant several times because we love it so much. The food is consistently amazing and comes out quickly, indicating its freshness. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they even allow dogs in the bar area. We would definitely return and highly recommend it for its good prices and delicious food.

My husband and I had one day and night in Sterling and this restaurant was recommended to us by the B&B we stayed in. What a find. We had looked around Sterling town centre earlier in the day and were unimpressed with the restaurants available. The Hollybank offers a varied menu, which is reasonably priced for the quality. My haddock mornay was superb, the quality (and portion) excellent. I don’t recognise the negative reviews as the staff were friendly and service was prompt. We will certainly visit again if the opportunity arises. Ver carta
