"What a pity this place has fallen so low in the eyes of its older customers ,no longer to be called a local but totally focused on meals ,anything else considered an inconvenience ,when they would rather serve drinks to people who struggle to stand...up but then give them plastic glasses so they can stand outside after last orders because they can't drink what they have , but a gent who has been a local for many many years ask's for a bag of crisps at ,last orders is told till's have been removed and you know the the last order's there's not a lot to say ,if this is the future of the pub trade l'm glad l saw the better years of it."

recently visited with family, and although busy nothing was too much effort for the staff. catherine was friendly and greeted us with a warm welcome. the children have already asked when we can return.

Went into the pub yesterday to meet a friend, we had a few beers and enjoyed the food, highly recommend the mac daddy to anyone who likes steak. Great service from Beth and Leanne who made sure we were looked after

simply here too midday it was absolutely nice can really recommend the schellock beautiful followed by vanilla and toffee cheesecake, the superb the staff was really friendly, especially janet thanks for their service we will be back.

made to feel welcome at the arrival. didn't have to wait long until the food arrives. all foods were red hot and my husband and sister commented both that the fish was perfect. only negatiw they are not serving decaff coffee or tee. otherwise. all excellent.

When we visited yesterday it was extremely busy and thought this may effect the service. Much to my pleasant surprise the gent that serves me, Matthew was Happy and smiley and helped chose my wine. I was informed the chef Antony cooked my food by...the manager and was amazing... Can't wait to go back and for me a big thumbs up from us. Thanks for a great experience.
