"We went in about 7pm on Saturday, and to be fair, they were quite busy. Seeing that they were busy, I asked one of the servers if they could take us- totally fine if not- she said yes, but it would be the window stools looking over the building site. That was ok. We took them and they brought us over cutlery and menus. Then they totally ignored us. We sat for a while and then decided we'd wait 15 minutes before leaving. We waited that and then we just got up and left. On the way out, we met the server we'd interacted with first. Her face kind of dropped but she didn't say anything. Don't think I'll be back, and it was a real shame as one of our party was visiting from the US so didn't give him a good impression."

The staff, particularly Katie and the manager Nigel, were very friendly and welcoming. The cocktails we had were delicious. We will definitely be back. Angela and Joyce highly recommend this place.

First time eating here and definately wont be the last. The staff were so friendly. They alone made the visit worthwhile, but the food was also exceptional.. the most delicious burger I've eaten in a while.

Ordered a pasta dish and had been waiting over an hour for it to even be served with meals being served all around us, the dish was bland with very little flavour and was very unevenly cooked, would not recommend Ver carta

Honestly the best staff in any restaurant I have ever eating.. They are a credit to both themselves and the ice house. Nothing was too much, friendly inviting and put us all at ease when dining with young children. Food was amazing cooked to perfection. We will be back and recommend to everyone...

Review: I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The bread served as a starter was sliced very thick and hard. The mussels in the main course were old and had a bad taste. My friend had the monkfish, which was served in small pieces on a large portion of lentils. The management was slow to remove the mussels from the bill, despite them being inedible. Overall, I was very disappointed with the food and service. I will not be returning. Ver carta

My husband and I went to this restaurant for his birthday dinner tonight. We had to repeatedly ask for our drinks and starters as we waited a long time for them. The starters were decent, but the main courses were disappointing. My husband's fish and chips had overcooked batter and thin fish. My steak was lukewarm and there was blood on the plate because it wasn't rested properly. The tomato was cold as well. When we went to pay the bill, they tried to charge us for extra drinks. The food and service were both lacking. We won't be returning.

Visited on Easter Monday for dinner at 7pm. Gorgeous interior and good exterior space. Staff made direct eye contact when we walked in for our booking then basically ignored us until we stood right in front of them. Had to go to bar to order drinks only to be told I could have come to you, oh well, snooze you lose . Food was basic pub good done poorly with only the battered fish being decent. Cutlery was just dumped at the table and staff walked off. If you wanted something it was like you had to flag people down. The upstairs feels like it doesn 't know if it wants to be a pub or restaurant and isn 't doing either well.

"Visited lost Found in Portstewart last Friday afternoon for some lunch. Checked the outdoor menu which stated food served until 3.30pm. Went ahead on inside. Started to briefly read the menu at the till as aware from previous visits that you order on arrival yourself at the counter. Was told by the female counter staff that we had 8 minutes to place our order and to take the menus to the table. We did this. Then when we said excuse me to the same member of staff, from our table, that we’d like to order, we were told we had to come back to the till. This made no sense whatsoever. From the moment we stepped in and were told that we had 8 minutes to order should have been the red flag I guess. Friday afternoon, not long till closing, they just didn’t want to be bothered prepping two rounds of food, The two members of staff in the premises had the worst attitude and no ounce of personality to be in the role that they are in. Every thing seemed to be a complete bother. May I also add, the food was very skimp, re portion sizes plus they seem to care more about the presentation than the food itself re the logo branded paper underneath the food. Try attempting to cut sourdough bread on this, not easy unless you want a mouthful of paper. Then when it comes to hot drinks, no sugar or milk provided. Yet again had to approach the till and ask for these to be provided with milk in a paper cup yet another couple had a glass jug of milk on their table (less dishes to wash I guess) and no white sugar at all, had to make do with brown sugar for tea. When asked for refills of hot water we were given a half full glass of this and then when asked for it to be filled up, yet again a whole botheration. Oh and don’t even get me started on the toilet facilities. Dingy to say the least. The premises in portstewart should never have reopened when it did as Lost and Found, previous owner/cafe was far more superior in all ways. Will not be back"
