a friend recommended the rectory so that I last week for something to eat and a drink immersed in a visit to a friend. excellent service, the cheeseburger was great (would recommend! , and the wee was at a reasonable price for good quality. I will visit again!

there was a soft autumn light that poured into the pub – that's strange, as it's just the beginning of the spring. the calf was eerily calm, as many places tend to be at this time of the day, but I have always found that one be perk, and it meant that we can easily choose which part of the pub to accommodate us.

I booked a table for a Sunday dinner here to celebrate my birthday a few weeks ago. there were more than 20 of us, so was concerned that it could be difficult to order/pay, or that eating not all come at once, but everything was brilliant! the staff was so helpful and friendly and eating was great. freya was especially helpful in the few days that led to the meal, as she took orders for everyone via email that made everything so much easier on the day. they would be highly recommended!
