Great dinner in a very relaxing atmosphere. Everyone had a great time.

Great afternoon! kids really enjoyed playing in the playgrounds, the staff was friendly and the food was amazing!

Friendly, helpful staff and great food. To top it all off they have a great garden with a large play area for the kids. We had some of their homemade pizzas which were really yummy!

The prices are incredibly high for the low-quality food being served. However, the restaurant does have an excellent kids' play area, so I would recommend coming here only for drinks.

The restaurant has a beautiful view and a charming garden with a play area for kids. The service is good and fairly friendly. However, the food quality is lacking, especially the children's Spaghetti Bolognaise which looked unappetizing and lacked flavor. I would return for the scenic location and good beer, but not for the food.

Wife I chose the whole grilled mackerel with avocado tomato salad with balsamic. Best mackerel we've ever had. Cooked and served to perfection. Midweek summer evening so chose to eat outside. Quiet garden, noise level from inside pub filtering out was acceptable. Traditional country pub. Not part of a pub chain. Highly recommended

I wouldn’t normally write a review but Elizabeth at the Jolly Farmer needs a mention. The food was great, the atmosphere great, and Elizabeth was awesome. She wasn’t even supposed to be on garden service but she came out and took drinks and food orders and made sure we were ok throughout. She was friendly, knowledgeable and had exemplary customer service. Excellent

We went to the restaurant for Father's Day. The food was very expensive for the portion sizes. We ordered sausage and chips from the kids' menu and paid £9.20 for just one sausage and chips, with peas being the only vegetable option. We also ordered the chicken kebab sharing platter for £30, but were disappointed to find that there was not a lot of chicken on the platter and it was mostly vegetables.

Visited at the weekend for a family lunch. Beautiful garden, very well kept and clean. The staff were superb and very helpful. Food was absolutely amazing, we had a sharing chicken kebab, succulent, juicy chicken with a really lovely taste, its amazing! We also had the fish and chips, crispy batter and really good chips, the kids had pizzas and said that they were the best pizzas ever. A big plus was the kids play area and the ice cream cart selling delicious Italian ice creams. Can't wait to return.
