Nice oldy worldy pub nice atmosphere dog friendly would definitely pop back when in Woodbridge

Didn't bother going in, too many rules on entry.Went 3* to be fair as no idea what inside is like.

This pub has a lovely atmosphere, with friendly staff and delicious food. I really appreciated the cozy warmth of the fire.

Traditional English pub. lots of beer, local and international. some wines to choose from. pimm's and other drinks. typical pub menu, those who ate were satisfied, but nothing was remarkably good.

Very basic pub grub, obviously straight from freezer.Double cooked chips were barely cooked once. Took an age for the food to turn up, then one dish turned up 15 minutes later, but we were offered one of our drinks free by way of compensation.Very disappointed having read the other reviews. Celebrated my Dad's birthday here at the weekend as he has a particular liking of Ghostship. There was 6 of us in our group and we all had thoroughly enjoyable meals both delicious and well presented. We all said we would recommend. Unfortunately the pub car park behind the venue was not in use so we had a challenge finding somewhere to park. We ended up parking near the co-op which is a fair walk from the pub so if anyone in your group has mobility issues I would definitely look into this before attending. Overall well worth the visit. Thank you.

The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was not only delicious but beautifully presented with generous portions. I tried the fish and chips, and the double-cooked chips were the crispiest, fluffiest, and tastiest I've ever had! After spending a day in the sunshine, we enjoyed sitting indoors to soak up the ambiance, but there's also a large beer garden outside that basks in the warm April sun. We will definitely be coming back!
