Best burger ever!!! This would have been a 5/5 but disappointed as there were no vegetarian options, no vinegar and £1 each for sauces!! However, the burgers are absolutely amazing, prices are ok and staff are nice.

Lovely clean friendly pub. Staff lovely...food delicious but burger very small and fries etc ...asked for tomato ketchup and vinegar that didnt have it ...if u like burgers and chicken all good but other then that limited menu x

We visited here, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub does not serve food, However there is Beast Burger which serves food which is located in the pub garden and you can sit inside the pub to eat. Beast burger were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Ver carta

So...food was really nice. Enjoyed all of it really and you get plenty. We had the sharer between four of us and it was fine. Milkshakes were also very nice and good amount for the money We will definitely come back again. Not happy about the bogof had finished. No vinegar for the chips. And paying £1 for some ketchup. (Not massive negatives)

It was alright. The selection of draught beers was good and the food was okay too. Very pricey for what it was though. I had buffalo chicken nuggets and salt and pepper chips with a pint, £14.75 in total which is a shambles. I also asked the big dude who I think is the owner if they had ketchup to which he responded “nah I don’t do ketchup” and gave me a list of sauces that they do have, all of which come at a price of at least £1. Nah, I do ketchup though mate, and so do a lot of people, and so do a lot of pubs that also don’t charge for sauces, so maybe I’ll go to one of them next time. While staying close by I visited this cosy local a few times and eyed up the menu a bit before taking the plunge. I was not disappointed! I ordered the Chicken Gyros Pitta and opted not to have a side of chips because my ‘research’ (looking over the shoulder of another diner) concluded that the chips were massive and probably more than I can handle alongside the pitta. I was right! The pitta was stuffed and really generously filled from top to bottom, with juicy gyros chicken tomato, tzatziki and spices fries none of your display filling and empty pitta nonsense! This 3 star review is purely for the food bar staff. We (like other reviewers) visited stayed in Keelby on the bank holiday weekend. The Friday evening we had food drinks, and it was great! Would really recommend the sharer as we really enjoyed it and were stuffed! The Saturday however, again like others, witnessed the land lady/manager shouting and swearing at the staff and a customer and felt very very awkward for being there and seeing that unfold. She complained the bar was a mess which, as a customer, I didn’t notice this myself, and if I did I would understand given it was only the two of them working on a busy weekend. I made a trip advisor account just for this because what i saw was absolutely vile. Me and my husband came to the kings head on the bank holiday easter weekend. It was quite busy and there was a young lad and girl on the bar who were clearly overworked and looked exhausted. About 20 mins into our visit a woman who I can only assume was the landlady/owner came in and started screaming at the bar staff and threw a (half full bottle of wine in the bin that nearly hit the lad behind the bar!! she was continuing throwing stuff around and shouting that there was stuff all over the bar (there wasn’t!! and threw a lemon slice at another customer!! the girl behind the bar left for a bit and when she...

Went in to get a beast burger with the family and the young bar staff were fantastic and very busy. They obviously needed another pair of hands for the bank holiday weekend and the capacity that was in but they kept their professionalism and served with a smile. After 10 mins being sat down the landlady came in shouting at her staff, threw something across the bar that hit a customer and even said she didn't care if they stayed or went. She was swearing and slamming glasses around saying that the bar was a mess. I had my 7 year old daughter with me. There are ways of being a manager and she obviously does not know how to do this.
