Honestly one of the nicest, if not THE nicest breakfasts I’ve had in a long long time… sausage, bacon, black pudding, hash browns, simple ingredients, cooked really, really well. Lovely

What a great Sunday roast, the whole experience was exemplary. It's not just a carvery, it's a whole experience of dining. Will definitely be back for more. Staff were all very attentive, nothing was too much trouble.

Amazing food at the Savor restaurant above the Labworth £18.95 for roast beef Sunday lunch.Linda and Steve are amazing hosts, they took out some water for my dogs, charged my phone and made me feel like a member of their family. Definitely will be back.

Let’s be clear… The Labworth restaurant is now called Savor. It’s the best meal I’ve had since going out post lockdown… and I’ve been out to a few restaurants recently. It had a varied menu, a lovely choice of specials, and portions were just right. The food was outstanding and the service perfect. Well worth a visit. We will be back (hopefully very soon!

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this restaurant is. Located on Canvey seafront, the views from the art deco-style building were lovely. The staff was attentive, the food was very good, and all five of us enjoyed our meals. The service was just right, and I particularly enjoyed the Skate dish, which can be difficult to prepare correctly. The portion sizes were just right as well.

We visited the Savor (formerly Labworth) as a group of 4 for the first time, despite living in the area for some time. Could not fault the meal, surroundings or service. The food was great good menu choice, flavoursome, decent sized portions, and not overly expensive. Tables are well spaced so you don't hear others conversations. The view of the estuary and the restaurant decor really makes it seem like it's a special occasion. Added to that the friendly but unobtrusive service, made it an all round excellent experience. Can't wait to visit again soon.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was exceptional. I had previously been hesitant to order steak due to past bad experiences at other restaurants, but I decided to give it another try. I ordered the fillet steak cooked rare and it was absolutely amazing. It was the best steak I have ever had, and I have had many steaks in my lifetime. It was cooked perfectly. I was part of a party of 12 and everyone was extremely pleased with the food and the attentive staff. Special thanks to the waitress with the distinctive shoes and Lorraine. Thank you to Steve, his wife (apologies for not remembering your name), and the kitchen staff for making my father's 90th birthday celebration so special...

We had been wanting to book this restaurant for about a year, and finally had our meal on August 4th. The views were fantastic, and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The lady who greeted us was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. She helped us pick our table, gave us our menus, and allowed us time to look at the drinks menu before taking our order. The steak I had was one of the best I've had in a long time, and it was cooked perfectly. Despite some comments about portion size, I can assure you that you won't go hungry here. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we never felt rushed. While they don't have a fancy website, word of mouth is their best advertise...

I came to canvey island after a chef in Paris (Pholippe de la mearde) told me about this place and how he had a very ordinary experience here.
