This village pub is fantastic. It has a cozy, traditional atmosphere and friendly staff. While it is popular with locals, newcomers are also made to feel very welcome. The food is delicious, with a gourmet touch rather than standard pub fare, and there is a spacious beer garden for warmer days and smokers. I highly recommend paying a visit! Ver carta

After a long days driving we stumbled upon the Lamb Inn and it was just the perfect stop. Located on the main road (a very quiet road), with some nice seating outside we initially sat there to enjoy the last of the summer sun. We ordered a couple of dishes between us and both were excellent. Because we were driving we had soft drinks though I did notice several good beers and I believe some cask ales we loved this pub, if we could lift and transport to here we would be very happy !

All ingredients are locally sourced, resulting in meals that exceed typical pub offerings without being overly expensive. However, parking can be difficult in the narrow roads of Sandford, a small village. The Lamb Inn is a popular spot, so arriving early is recommended to secure a table for dining.

I stayed at this charming old pub with nicely decorated and spotless rooms. My small double room was smaller than the typical double, but it had its own bathroom and closet space, which is all you really need. The staff were helpful and friendly, with the landlord even assisting me with parking on the narrow residential street where the pub is located. A cosy, friendly, charming place to stay. The chef squeezed us in for dinner which was a massive help as we arrived later than hoped with a baby in tow. I’m still daydreaming about the souvlaki 3 days on. Our room was in a converted barn (I think) with a freestanding bath and real ground coffee for the morning, such a treat. Sandford is a sweet little village (there was a scarecrow hunt on while we we there I counted 5) with a great community shop selling local Devon produce. Thank you Lamb Inn

I had a fantastic experience at The Lamb Inn! My husband and I recently stayed there and enjoyed every moment. The room was luxurious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The attention to detail was impressive and all the facilities were top-notch. The staff were friendly and provided excellent hospitality. The continental breakfast was delicious and our dining experience was amazing. The Sunday roast and salmon were both fantastic. As a pescetarian, I was pleased with the variety of meat-free options on the menu. I would highly recommend The Lamb Inn to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. It was truly one of the best experiences I've had in a long time.

My wife and I spent several nights at this restaurant over the weekend. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and were incredibly attentive throughout our stay. The room was beautifully decorated, simple yet stylish, with a large comfortable bed and even a coffee maker so we could enjoy real coffee instead of the usual instant hotel coffee. Although I prefer showers, the free standing bath was so luxurious that I could have soaked in it for hours. The continental breakfast was the perfect start to our day, with cereal, coffee, and fresh croissants that were just the right amount to fuel us for a day of walking without feeling too heavy.
