We came here one evening for a couple of drinks and were told they had a Wednesday special of chicken wings for 50p a piece, so we decided to get a few. Those were some of the biggest and tastiest chicken wings I have ever tried. Will definitely come back for more!

I booked a few tables downstairs for 30 people on my birthday and had an incredible night! The staff was lovely, the atmosphere was great, and there was fun music playing until late. To top it off, we received free prosecco upon arrival. I couldn't find any faults with this place!

My friend and I booked the private room for a joint birthday party and had a fantastic night. The venue was great, the food was fantastic and the staff could not have been more helpful. I would certainly recommend and would definitely consider booking the venue again. Thanks to all the Joker team for making our night so much fun.

Booked the Joker pub for 30 people for my leaving drinks and had an amazing night. Had never been to the pub before but turned out to be ideal for a large crowd. Very friendly and efficient staff, good beers and great DJ! Would definitely recommend for parties or just for drinks due to its great atmosphere. Great place to relax and have a drink. I went out for a lively night with friends Janto, Chunger, and Big Mervyn. After having some drinks and snacks, we went to The Joker for a fun time. The drinks were delicious and helped wash away the taste of glue. Things got even funnier when Janto started impersonating a couple nearby. We had a great time laughing and joking around, despite some disapproving looks from other customers. We had a lot of drinks and laughs, and even managed to take home a couple's umbrella and some money they gave us. Overall, it was a great night filled with fun and laughter.

We were let down by another pub when the roof collapsed the night before we had 60 friends and relatives travelling to London for our engagement drinks and Ash his wonderful team completely saved us at the last minute! The room is a great size for a party with its own bar, sound system and right next to the loos so everything you need. They arranged welcome drinks for us and even kept coming to top up my glass whilst I was speaking to guests. We could decorate however we wanted and they were fine for us to make the room our own. The Joker ended up being just what we wanted however what we had planned with the staff at the pub didn’t come off on the night. We booked for a party of 30 for a Friday night and we were told we would have the back area by the windows (downstairs and that there would be food available and DJ on the night. Both me and my partner popped in during the week to check this and were assured. On the night we were given a table right in the middle, only enough for 10people to sit down. There was no food on so a few of our friends left to go elsewhere because they were hungry! (we had told them they could get food on the night! Although there was background music there was no DJ. Our experience of the Joker was minimally satisfactory at best. We booked the events room well in advance, which was easy and booked with reasonable conditions. Prior to the event, I attempted to speak with the manager to organise a tasting session for the Xmas buffet menu before placing a large order. I was never contacted back, and so eventually booked the dishes I felt most suitable. On the day, these arrived sporadically over 3hours, with our penultimate dish arriving 30minutes after our guests were due to leave and had already left!!!! I reserved the function room for a party of about 25 people. The space was perfect, beautifully arranged with its own private bar, and we were able to decorate and play our own music through the sound system. The staff were fantastic, the drink prices were very reasonable, and everyone had a fantastic time. However, there were a few issues that I want to mention for anyone else planning to book. With better communication before the event, I believe these could have been easily resolved.
