Came for lunch and both food and service was fantastic. Waitress Cheryl is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and will come again.

Dinner was very tasty Husband had turkey but did mention that it could have done with being warmer . I had the belly pork which was amazing. Hubby was very disappointed about not being able to have the pudding he had ordered. Cheryl was a lovely hostess

Met friends here for a pre Christmas get together and had a wonderful evening! The food was great, the atmosphere was warming and our waitress Helen was so friendly and informative including advising us on vegetarian and GF options, she couldn’t have done more for us! Went today with my mum and 2 children a 7 year old daughter and 2 year old autistic son. I always struggle when taking my son anywhere due to his stimming and fact he can be quite loud. But when ever I come here I always feel welcome and at ease and find it easy to ignore the stares of other customers. I live locally to the Mill so we tend to visit at least every couple of months. We took advantage of the 50% off mains voucher that was recently sent out and went in on Wed early evening. Despite being late due to traffic they were happy to seat us. I’ve had the occasional iffy meal over the years but I have to say this time both the food and service was great. I had pork belly and it was lovely. Our server Helen was really friendly, checked back at the right intervals and gave good recommendations for both mains and dessert when I was being indecisive. We’ll be back again soon.

Been here several times and not had a problem but yesterday was a very different experience. We had a table of 10 so of course didn’t expect food to be super quick. However, We were there for 2 hours before starters came out followed my another hour and 15 before mains came out. A lot of customers had walked out to go elsewhere due to the wait. We were there at half 1 for lunch and ended up eating at 16:30 basically closer to dinner time!! The waitresses Amy Cheryl were great and very apologetic. The chefs were clearly not up for catering for many people in the pub. Service severely lacking! Popped in yesterday Saturday afternoon around 2.30ish) so not overly busy had no issues at being told bar only area, really not a problem. As ordering at the bar not an issue. Ordered food, drinks, starters arrived, mackerel pate was fine, lamb kofta, husband said was ok but cold... hadn't really finished when mains arrived, oh I said that's quick.. response was, oh forgot you had starters.... asked for vinger not a hard request) still waiting !!!!!! No check back, nothing. Not even when I went to get more drinks literally sitting in front of the bar. So just shy of £100. For 2.
