The attentive service, outstanding restaurant, and cozy rooms combine to make this beachfront hotel in a serene area, just a short walk from Oban city center, the perfect option for anyone staying in or around Oban. The restaurant boasts a lovely and cozy interior, and its location is excellent. It takes just a comfortable 10-minute walk to reach the center of Oban. The staff throughout the establishment are very friendly, with particular praise for the two gentlemen at the reception/bar. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 5, the service a 5, and the location a 5.

That feeling of joy when you discover a beautiful place. Outstanding venue. Outstanding staff. Lovely gardens. Exquisite food the best of our week long adventure (Scallop starter is our recommendation! Be mindful that this hotel sits on a working harbour yet the hotel is extraordinarily peaceful. I am a staff member here. I've worked in various hotels and with all honesty this is one of the loveliest places to stay in. We take pride in making sure guests are welcome and diligently make sure room are spotless. We are also now open at 2pm every day to the public for teas, coffees and snacks such as scones. We have a beautiful view overlooking Kerrera, Maiden Island and Dunollie Castle. You have the option of sitting on or sitting outside in the garden. We are located in a more quiet area of Oban so if you are looking for a more serene spot, here is the place to be. :

The hotel is charming, featuring cozy rooms, stunning views, and a lot of character. The restaurant appeared inviting and had an incredible aroma, although we didn't dine there. However, what truly made our stay memorable during our Scottish vacation was the wonderful staff. We had such an enjoyable evening chatting and laughing while learning about whiskies and local gins with David, who effortlessly moved between serving guests and keeping us entertained with his humor and countless recommendations. Our stay at the Manor House was the highlight of our trip to Scotland. The staff were truly exceptional and knowledgable. My husband is very interested in history, and Daniel gave him a very detailed tour of the House and answered all of his questions with aplomb. We felt very welcomed and cared for, and the staff had pre-arranged for a special vegan meal for us. Our server, David, was outstanding. The food was incredible--we live in Los Angeles where we have some of the best vegan restaurants in the world, and yet this hotel in a seaside Scottish town provided one of the best meals I've ever had in my life.
