The Mohul - Carta

Had the special mixed Balti, the meat pieces were inedible, there was a solo prawn, and a few chicken pieces. Not much ‘special’ about it.

got a takeaway was so disappointed very expensive and just 4 king prawns which were like bullets tikka masala sauce watery and uninviting will not bother again

Always a great experience at the Mohul. The food is superb and the staff are great. Well priced and bring your own booze (the Tunnel Tap next door does a great carry out of needed) so you don't get spanked for beer prices!! Hopefully see you again soon Si and Sara Ver carta

Had a lovely takeaway curry with family. Rung up at 5.30 and picked up at 6pm! We usually have Thai but wanted a change. Everyone loved their meals. Fresh popadoms are gorgeous with the dips!! I had veggie korma and was very yum! There were chicken masala's and a biryani all loved! Thank you.

Just the best I go every Saturday for food 50% takeout for collection and other 50% for dine in its absolutely wonderful they've never let me down and deliveries are always perfect sometimes I order for delivery and the food is perfect does its never cold and delivery driver is very well mannered

Have been going to the Mohul for years. Ash and the Team are fantastic including smiley Sammy. The food is amazing and every time I go I'm always made to feel welcome. My children now call Ash their uncle and my whole family will be there for their Birthdays. Thanks for their hard work and friendship Ver carta

From start to finish we were treated like VIP guests. The staff could not do enough to accomodate us. The service was efficient and the food delicious. The spinach barghi was excellent. My experience was so good that I went again two days later. The staff are an excellent asset to this restaurant and to the hospitality industry in which they work.

Got a take away so haven't rated atmosphere. Service on collection was prompt and friendly. The food was OK, but nowhere near what all the 5 star reviews suggest. We had chicken tikka massala, chicken tikka Bhuna and lamb rogan josh. Sauces were bland with no hint that fresh spices were used. Alleged chicken tikka was plain with no sign it had ever seen the inside of a tandoor oven or even just grilled. Lamb was nice and tender though. If you 5 star reviewers really think this is as good as curry gets, you are really missing out.

I used to visit The Mohul years ago and the food was always delicious! We made a last-minute decision to go last night after a day out and not eating...I remembered the amazing meals I had here! The service at the restaurant is impeccable, with very polite and lovely staff. However, we were disappointed with the food. Both of us ordered chicken tikka masala, and while we finished our meals, it was very bland. It mainly tasted of cream and coconut with no spices, and it didn't taste very fresh either. It's unfortunate because we really wanted to enjoy our meal. Ver carta
