The staff was courteous and allowed us to move tables with no complaint, they pointed to the differences between the pies. The food was good, and it felt local. The cider was sublime, the highlight of our experience. We would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic Christmas dinner at the Mudlark! Since our office is close to the Mudlark, it's our top choice for dining out. We decided to have our Christmas celebration here and were extremely pleased with the food and service. The staff, as always, were friendly and attentive.

We booked here for my daughter’s 18th birthday after reading the reviews. We went into the dining area upstairs and were greeted by a group of 30 people who had been there a couple of hours already and definitely weren’t sober. We couldn’t hear ourselves think, for some reason some thought it was necessary to just shout at each other, at one point my husband’s phone alerted him that it was too loud. To say it spoilt the meal is an understatement. The food was lovely and the staff were really attentive but we couldn’t wait to leave. I’d also put a comment in the special request section that it was my daughter’s 18th and could they add a table decoration or maybe a candle in a dessert. Somethi...

My friend ordered some food and it hadn’t come for a while. I then went up to the bar to enquire about it as the money had been taken out of her account. The staff member said the order hadn’t come through and that she should go up to speak to them. My friend went up and proceeded to have a long conservation where, despite her politeness, she was subject to extreme passive aggressiveness, patronisation, an unnecessary level of scrutiny, and probable racial microagression. She returned to our table where I witnessed the manger come out and speak to her (me sitting across from her) in the most condescending and incredibly rude way!
