Stumbled across this place with parking directly outside. Good choice of food, very reasonably priced. Very helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

This restaurant is fantastic. The staff is excellent, the food is brilliant, and the coffee is lovely. The menu offers a great selection and they are accommodating with substitutions. I was happy to pay for such a great dining experience.

Completely rude and arrogant staff, never have I had such disrespect and disgusting service all because after being seated outside we took a table inside when it became available. I would strongly advise you give it a miss and seek out another cafe in the area.

It was so good we visited twice in one day. We first stopped about 10:15 Sunday morning and had sausage sandwiches with tea. Plentiful supply of everything. We enjoyed it so much we stopped on our return journey in the afternoon and had cream teas which were also excellent.

It's a little bit no frills but we were delighted with our stop off here for breakfast- lovely friendly waitress perfect coffees, just as we'd ordered a tasty breakfast pocket- absolutely huge a scrumptious poached eggs on proper toast The cakes looked delicious too but we hadn't got room for them! Can recommend.

The staff at this restaurant exhibited extremely poor behavior towards three customers who ordered scrambled eggs on toast. They were given a lecture about why they couldn't have it, citing concerns about orders for poached eggs and lack of time to prepare them. This despite the fact that all-day breakfast was still available. We witnessed this disrespectful attitude and chose not to order, fearing we would receive the same treatment. It is best to avoid this overpriced and unwelcoming establishment.

I was very disappointed with the breakfast at this restaurant. The sausage and bacon were clearly precooked and reheated, to the point where I had to send back the bacon. The toast was extremely plain and tasted like cardboard. Despite traveling 2 hours with friends to start the day with a good breakfast before walking nine standards, we were let down by the poor quality of the food. It's hard to believe that a breakfast could be made so poorly. This review is based on the opinions of three people who ordered breakfast.

Last Saturday, my husband and I called into The Mulberrry Bush in Kirkby Stephen for a cake and drink. We ordered a slice of cake and a scone with jam and cream, along with Earl Grey tea. When the scone came out, I proceeded to put jam on it, then the cream. When I picked up the carton of cream, I commented to my husband that it was freezing cold. When I tried to get the cream out of the carton, I discovered it was frozen solid. The waitress apologised and took it away to change it. A couple of minutes later, she came back to tell us that, unfortunately, they had no more cream that wasn't frozen. Very disappointing!

I would like to commend the excellent staff at the Mulberry Bush today. I witnessed another customer being very abusive and disruptive in the restaurant demanding a discount on the breakfast that they had eaten, having allowed their son to run riot around the restaurant, shouting and swearing in the presence of young families. The lady remained very calm and collected whilst the man called her terrible names and acted in an aggressive way, taking photographs outside the cafe and raising his voice. We regularly call in to the cafe and have had nothing but positive experiences with the staff, service and food. We thoroughly enjoyed our full English breakfasts and look forward to enjoying your...
