had battered haddock, all bater poor quality chips, table sticky , hence no beer mats and over priced, a shame as it use to be a well kept place with good food will not return............

Had a fabulous lunch here tomato and red onion soup was divine and the chicken goujons with spicy mayo just perfect! Friendly service and very welcome good food! Compliments to the chef! We’ll be back!

The food was terrible, the staff were impolite and rude, the restaurant had a strong odor indicating it needed a good cleaning. This was a disappointing experience, especially since I had heard great things about this place. It seems like there has been a change in ownership. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Very disappointed with here this was a recommendation that sadly didn't come through. Had fish and chips it looked nice but had raw batter in the middle and the chips were barely warm, my hubby had steak that I had to put most in my bag as he couldn't chew it and I saved it for my dog. The staff were rude and didn't seem Intrested at all. Will Not be returning.

We stopped here for an evening meal whilst on a canal holiday. The pub is a friendly place, quiet, and quite traditional, that serves decent “pub grub” at very good value prices. We had a chicken burger and a ham, egg and chips, and both were absolutely great. No pretentious gourmet food or trimmings, just honest pub grub. Beer well kept and good choice of gins.

The food and drinks at this restaurant were absolutely fantastic. We had the pleasure of meeting the head chef, who adapted the meals to suit my children. I ordered a steak that was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The staff all went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. A young lady at the bar made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be visiting again.

My wife and I had lunch at this restaurant. I ordered the steak and my wife ordered the fish and chips. Unfortunately, the fish and chips were overcooked and the steak was a poor quality cut. The staff seemed to notice that we were unsatisfied, but they did not make an effort to speak with us about our concerns. My wife has dementia, so I decided not to cause a scene and we left. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

1 Waited to be severed in one of the bars.Had to go in the other bar to be severed.Asked for pink gin diet lemonade.The other bar lady said oh we don’t have diet lemonade the other did not know.Good start.Table was sticky asked for it to be cleaned.Spray table and my new top.Food came out.ham egg and chips lots of black bits on my chips.I asked for my eggs to be hard.They were but burnt underneath.I am Diabetic I needed something to eat so eat some of it. My husband eat some of it too. Complained they took my drink off. I won’t be going there again.

We arrived at the V4Navigation (Navigation Inn) with good expectations but were very disappointed. The website designer has done a very good job of making the place look like a classy high quality establishment but it is far from it! Sticky table tops and uncleaned table tops with a beer mat stuck to it also plastic plants and cobwebs everywhere. You cant really call a room with sticky tables that have no table cloths no dinner plate mats no drink mats and plastic sachets for salt and vinegar a restaurant! As for the food itself it did not get any better with a fairly long wait for what turned out to be average low quality pub grub as the roast chicken was actually odd pieces of rubbery chic...
