Very quiet pub on a Thursday night. Which is what I was looking for. The food is supposed to be good although I didn't try it. Nice atmosphere with the pubs dogs being on good behaviour. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I just enjoyed one of the best sirloin steaks I've ever had—10 ounces uncooked for only £16.00! Everyone at the table was pleased with their meals, and the value and service were excellent as well. It's not fancy or pretentious, just really good food. Ver carta

I had a great experience and would definitely go back! It was a nice day, so we sat outside. There were five of us, and we all received our food at the same time, which was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The menu wasn't very extensive, but that can have its advantages!

I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant on Friday night during their Steak and Wine Night, which was just £29 for two. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the homemade chips were absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. I will definitely be coming back regularly! xx Ver carta

We called in for lunch. Unfortunately the choice was limited as it was 3:50pm on bank holiday Monday. Our food took an hour to arrive, but was delicious, hot and fresh. So although it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't have our first choice, and that the wait was quite long, it was worth the wait. It was nice that we were able to bring our dog inside also. After placing our food order, we found ourselves waiting… and waiting… and waiting. Eventually, we asked to move to another table because a large party was being seated nearby, and the staff accommodated us without any issue. An hour later, our food finally arrived, but it was cold, except for one dish. We requested that it be heated up. Fifteen minutes later, they brought it back out. In the end, we were only charged for the drinks, and the staff apologized profusely for the delay. Overall, the food was worth it, but the wait was quite frustrating.

Unfortunately, the two staff members at the bar were very unhelpful. They seemed to lack basic customer service skills and informed me that their manager was not on duty, so they couldn’t process my refund without permission. After waiting for three hours, I followed up, and they still hadn’t resolved the issue. I was assured that someone would be there the next morning to handle my refund. When I returned the next day, a third staff member named Kevin told me he was also unable to issue a refund and advised me to email the manager instead. Now, a week has passed, and despite emailing twice, I still haven’t received a response. I strongly advise against staying here. The customer service... Ver carta
