Nicer inside than it looks outside, staff were amazing, polite and very helpful, the food was amazing , would definitely recommend

Got the burger and it was rock solid and dry, chips was good and halloumi was dripping in oil. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. pint was alright tho Location: 5

Overall, it was a very good, slight issue with bread roll on starter, still frozen in middle. Staff couldn't apologise enough. Otherwise, food is good Service: 5 Location: 5

I called for a lunch. you have to say that it was not disappointed to get a wonderful gluten-free meal. burger with chips n salat. very tasty and plentiful. personal very attentive. will definitely be back to visit. x x x

visited here for a Sunday roasting was amazingly good selection and great portions. was in the situation that day before so no problems with not getting a table good selection of ales and such freendly people in and out of the whole to book

Do not stay at this pub . The landlords were vile, and the pub is dirty and there were flies everywhere. The landlord made offensive jokes and the landlady was very rude and dismissive We have visited several times in the past under different landlords but won’t be back

The buck is a very friendly pub with a nice atmosphere the food is good and reasonably priced parking outside if you are lucky or at Thornton Dale car park which is not far away it is also dog friendly so long as they are under control no hesitation to go again if we passed that way Service: 5 Location: 5

Super dog friendly pub. Just popped in for a swift drink ,great pint. We have a Great Dane and he was treated like a celebrity by the staff the locals and the fantastic land lady. The food looked and smelt delicious. We didn't have time to eat but Boss the Dane was presented a taster plate of roast beef with two Yorkshire puddings...yummy... Cheers Martin Sara and Boss

Lovely quirky little pub just on the outskirts of dalby forest we stopped in here on our way out from go ape for a bite to eat and the food was brilliant you could tell it was all locally sourced and fresh it tasted delicious and the service to go with it was even better very welcoming and polite staff who where happy to help no matter what we asked we will most certainly return but would highly recommend this venue to anyone. Only downside is that didnt get any photo of the venue or food because i was that hungry
